Pushy sales, ok install
It has been over 2 years since I had a door installed by this company. They are still trying to contact me for more work. Despite me stating I didn’t have any. Additionally the sales person who came to measure took 2 hours to do the pitch and measure up. There was an on the spot decision required otherwise a discount would be taken away. In retrospect this should have been a huge red flag. The install was quick and efficient however the door has never closed properly and the seal strip is pulled away from the frame which I am instructing a new company to resolve. Finally they left a sign outside my house for circa 2 months and never collected it. I would not recommend this company. Install date Sept 2023. Last call from them today

Everything went wrong
Everything went wrong, from the beginning. No one called for measurement, after a week of chase someone called to book this with me.Another 4 weeks of waiting , chasing continuously I've had an installation day.The balcony French door couldn't be fitted due to someone forgetting to call the scaffolds.Next Tuesday, just about to go to airport for holiday, two lads called saying that they will erect the scaffolds.Told them to go away and when in Spain they've called me to pay. Really hilarious.After loads of talks they've given me the date to finish but guess what?They forgot the scaffolds again!!!!Obviously, next day the scaffolds arrived FFS. so another day has been promised .I couldn't charge my car due to the scaffolds left in front of my house for 2 weeks over the Christmas.This show has started in August 2025 ended in January 2026 when they've finally removed the scaffolds and in between I have taken 4 days off unpaid for this company, what a joke!!!!

Had my front windows and cladding done…
Had my front windows and cladding done on the dorma of the house. Tom and his work mate worked hard and didn't stop. The overall finish was great and the down stairs window, I couldn't get over the difference it has made to the room. Very pleased with the look, finish and fit of the windows. Tom went above and beyond letting me know of the issues on the roof above the windows, which he didn't have to, taking pictures to show me. He was professional and no question was too much trouble to answer.
The cladding looks great and has left the dormer looking clean and water tight.
Overall I am happy with the job.
Talked themselves out of a sale
They did a great job fitting a composite door, so much so I asked them to quote for soffit and facia replacement. The price looked ok so I advised them to call me in March 2026 and I’d give the go ahead. They actually called me in Nov 2025 asking if I still wanted the door fitting(??!) and offering a discount on the soffits etc. I asked for a revised quote, but heard nothing back until Feb 2026 when they wanted to remeasure, requote and give another 1 hour sales pitch, which I thought unnecessary having been through it all before. The attitude of the Sales Manager on the phone was so poor I decided they probably weren’t the type of Company I wanted to deal with after all and declined the visit.

My thirty year old conservatory roof needed replacing, having had Verdi for a couple of jobs in the past and was completely satisfied with the work done and we were happy with the quote. The two lads Paul and Connor did a splendid job, my old conservatory now looks nearly new. This was a three day task, they lost half a day due to heavy rain, but still managed to pull the work in before the end of day three, they worked so hard, Very happy with the outcome and would be happy to recommend Verdi in future.
took £700 from me for doing nothing
I enquired for a set of windows and doors last year, they quoted £7000 and took a £700 deposit. Then the surveyor had some personal issues and said he will call back to rebook. By the time he called back, I changed contractors and told the surveyor to cancel the order, as the new contractors had their own window supplier. He said it was fine but I haven't heard back from him and when I contacted the office for a refund, they refused saying it was out of 14 days cooling off period. I'm now processing this with Trading standards and small Claims Court, as they are not budging on returning my money.
Terrible Customer Service
I had the front fascias of my property done around July 2025. The side fence of my property was damaged by the scaffolding company in which they promised to fix. However till date, nothing has been done about it. I have tried contacting verdi about this and after being promised to be contacted back regarding the damage, nobody has bothered to make contact or fix the issue. This has made me frustrated and upset about the work they did and how unprofessional they have been!. I am constantly in full regret for using this company!
Stressful and Disappointing
We instructed Verdi Home Improvements in 2025 for doors, soffits, fascia and guttering, with roof and wall coating works also discussed. Unfortunately, the overall experience was far more stressful than expected.
The contract was signed on 28 August with work noted to begin “ASAP / within four weeks”. After a mid-September survey, communication became very poor. We repeatedly chased for updates, were promised call backs that never happened, and only received clear information at the end of October — nearly two months later — when we were told the roof and wall coatings could not be done until spring 2026 due to the season. This had not been explained at point of sale.
We agreed to proceed with just the doors and soffits as they urgently needed replacing. Even then, scheduling was problematic, with missed days, no-shows, and work left unfinished without explanation. At one stage the house was left partially open to the elements for two days in November.
The doors (installed by subcontractors) appear to be fitted well. However, the soffit, fascia and guttering work raised several issues, including damage to the rendering, poor alignment at the rear where it meets the neighbouring property, untidy patch repairs, and problems with the downpipe installation.
We allowed Verdi back once for remedial works. Some items were addressed, but the overall finish still fell short of what we would reasonably expect. Our main concern was finding several roof tiles on the ground immediately after the works, which had not been there before and was not explained to us at the time.
Communication around concerns and finance became difficult, with conflicting information and pressure to sign off despite unresolved issues. We eventually arranged an independent roofing inspection at our own expense. This confirmed all of our concerns about the works, and we will be paying out of our own pocket to have these issues put right, sooner than have Verdi return to our home. We signed off purely to bring a very long and stressful process to an end.
Overall, while some elements are acceptable, the experience was let down by poor communication, delays, and inconsistent workmanship. It certainly didn’t feel like our home was Verdi Home Improvement’s passion as their slogan suggests.
Very poor workmanship and rudeness

Novuna used verdi ad remedial work after safestyle made a mess.
Verdi refitted all my windows in June 2024. Now my house is freezing cold, when i contacted Verdi and after many emails the "engeneer" finally came for an home visit. He was extremely rude and dismissive. Barely checked one window and said that double glazing are not ment to insulate (?!).
I have paid for a private surveyor which examined the windows and report that ALL of them are poorely installed reason why there are leaks of air around all the frames!!!I had a builder coming to get a quote to fix the problem and after thorough inspection he noticed that the air extractor on half of the windows doesn't work amd there is mold forming. This is against building regulations and it is an health issue!
Plus the french door doesn't close properly and there is massive air coming from there.
On top of the poor workmanship they use cheap, bad quality material!
When i told Novuna i don't want this company anywhere near my house anymore, Novuna refused to pay for someelse to fix the problem!how can Verdi help if they were uncapable to spot such mussive problem in the first place and then to acknowledge it! By all means, stay away from them and fron Novuna!!!!!!!
Not good quality
In 2017 I bought a composite door from Verdi and after a few years the colour of the door had faded very badly and looked awful,so under the 10 year warranty it was replaced and I was happy that the new door wasn’t fading like the old one, the problem is that the new door has never fit quite right and the bright work is looking like a 20 year old door even though it’s a few years old, I’m single and the door is extremely low traffic, no kids abusing the fittings. The quality is very poor seeing as I was told it was a top quality product and would last years. I called them only to be told the fittings and hinges only had a 12 month warranty which I thought the whole door was 10 years, now I understand why such a short guarantee and you can judge for yourself by the pictures but there is no option to submit any. I’ve asked to be removed from their marketing and next year will be having all of my windows replaced but not with this sort of quality. I have just had a fitter who has 15 years experience with Anglian Windows, round to look at my three year old replacement door and I have been told the whole door is warped and there is no metal reinforcement in the door as there should be on an external door for security, I’m just hoping my house insurance is still valid with the lack of reinforcement on an external door, I am very disappointed in Verdi, please look elsewhere, as their warranty and quality is not as good as they promote.

After many years of suffering red hot summers and cold winters we finally decided to get a new roof,
I found Verdi online, I went to their main office in Blaby and spoke to one of the team members and told them what our needs were and the next day the surveyor called Harry came out to measure the roof as it was a Victorian design we had to have it specially designed then we eventually got it installed by Tom & Connor who were really friendly chaps and they did an amazing job on a old conservatory base, they worked really hard in testing conditions and they cleaned well every day. Those two men are a real bonus to the company in our eyes, we are really pleased with the service and will defiantly recommend them to any one looking for a new conservatory or roof. Thank you for doing it for us, the final result is amazing and I look forward to spending time not being too hot in the summer or too cold in the winter.

Tom and Lance were very professional
Verdi came in to redo the window installation of another company via our third party insurance. This is the first time we have worked with them and would recommend them to family and friends.
Tom and Lance were very professional, very knowledgeable and very skilled. They briefed and debriefed us daily so we knew what was happening. We felt heard and listened to by them. They cared and delivered exceptional customer service and are a real credit to Verdi. We have had fitters in the past however Tom and Lance have been the best we have ever seen.

Seamless experience
I had approached Verdi a couple of years ago, when my wife and I were originally considering replacing our original windows and wooden frames. Other more pressing maintenance issues arise and we shelved the idea.
A few weeks ago I received a 'cold call' from Verdi, however, I was addressed by name and reminded I'd previously been in touch. I was advised an offer was on and asked if I'd like to consider again.
After talking it over with my wife, we agreed to see a Verdi sales representative at home.
Harry subsequently met us, wearing a smart Verdi logoed polo shirt and gave us a thorough introduction to the company and product range.
When we said that initially, we'd only really be looking at replacing our South facing Kitchen window, as that was the one with the poorest frame condition, that didn't phase him. Harry was very personable throughout and never once employed 'hard sell' tactics.
Harry measured and quoted for the kitchen window alone, then offered to quote for all five, exploring finance options.
It was clear that getting the whole lot done at once made both financial and aesthetic sense.
We asked him how much extra it would be to add in a replacement front door, this too making sense. We'd used another company to replace our back door, only a couple of years ago, so that didn't need including.
We were happy to proceed and paid a modest deposit.
A few days later we were visited by a Verdi surveyor, for detailed measuring. I forget his name, but he was very efficient and methodical.
Fast forward to yesterday and Ryan & Jesse arrived shortly after 8am for the installation. With only a short lunch break midway, they toiled efficiently in the almost constant rain, completing the job in around six hours!
Both my wife and I found them very polite, friendly, professional and hardworking. There was little to no disruption to our day off together. They put sheeting down throughout while they worked, vacuumed and cleaned up well afterwards.
The product and fitting are both high quality and we are delighted with the results. We wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending Verdi.
When we can afford to get our roofing fixed, we will be using Verdi again.

PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE STAY AWAY
Should be -5 as our whole experience has just been that awful I really dont know where to start! Our installation originally started on the 26 March and it's still not finished. Every window and door is damaged, joints dont meet, bad colour match, fitters didn't seal or render the brickwork, raised a window and haven't concreted the bricks, they are just foamed in. The fitters put windows back to the old layout and failed to follow the new design and once it was pointed out they got angry, caused further damage to those windows, we have broken, scratched and ill fitting glass with a flimsy piece of cardboard up for weeks above our badly fitted front door that shuts so quickly it would take your fingers off, we have a child in the home and its unsecure! There are no edges up on the front, french doors and some windows as they are all piled up outside getting warped in the heat and the wet, you can see daylight around the walls and floor of the front door as its sealed badly, its open to the elements, we are unable to finish decorating so other things are getting seriously delayed.
The first fitters refused to return after storming away on 28 March leaving damaged flooring and plaster ripped off 3/4 of the walls where they ripped out the back door so forcibly. The next set of fitters didn't return until 11 June and we only found that out because I called in on 6 June to complain. We have been left with a hugely defective and damaged back door thats so badly fitted it wont open even with force, you would be trapped in a fire, it's not a stable door as it just doesn't work as one and it doesn't lock so again it's unsecure.
We have been told the replacement is at the depot but if that is true why have they not replaced it on further visits as they have had plenty of opportunity rather but have made things worse. Why was there no communication from Verdi from 29 March to 6 June when I called in? They didn't even tell us what they were actually reordering but we have found out that they have changed door suppliers and can get us any door we want but we just want what we ordered.
The next fitters were lovely but thats it as they not only refitted the original damaged window back in our bay that they then left that unsealed and with no edging, every window is still damaged but they then chose to fit the french doors badly they don't shut or lock as they have severely dropped, they were damaged on install from the manufacturing process, lead in the glass triangles is awful, way below par on quality, door corners are so badly jointed that they have large gaps both sides that will degrade once water gets inside. The french doors have been cut so badly and forced into the wall so hard that the doorstep is bowing upwards, they have no edges, walls are open to the elements, not sealed and held in with foam only, same inside as our decorated walls are a mess! All the Verdi staff that have been out to the house including a surveyor have said that the fitting is unsatisfactory, but are yet to have the rest of defects resolved. After waiting so long and having a Scheduler and Team Leader in a couple of times to review the quality of the product, defects and damage we have said enough is enough and requested our money back! Verdi are an unprofessional company, staff have 0 customer service or communications skills, their fitters, sub-contracted or employed have no duty of care and what we have experienced with the skills needed has been sub standard and not what you would expect! We ordered new composite front door, back stable door, french doors and windows in (light) agate grey that cost 30% extra but they are just rubbish, are not as expected and are not fit for purpose! When I look back now I wish we had done more research on the reviews etc as the salesman were a little forceful and definitely hung around longer than expected, talking discounts and the usual nonsense and to be honest the price isn't all that great anyway! If I had known then what was to come with the shocking quality of the product, all the defects with the windows and doors and the damage that the bad fitters would leave behind, including wrecking a newly laid hallway floor, having to have a new blind as the new previous one was too big after they moved the bay window in 2.5in and having two punctured rear tyres as cut screws, glass and rubbish was just not cleaned up and left all over our drive and front garden I would not of proceeded. I wish I could share the damage via the pictures and videos as what can't speak can't lie!
It's been an absolutely horrendous experience from the start and we have now been forced down a complaint route, there is no way we want Verdi anywhere near our home, they are just not competent and DO NOT have the quality product they sell. We just want our money back & quality windows/doors fitted properly, thats not too much to ask is it!

I had Verdi in to correct damage and incorrect installation of some French doors by another company. Verdi was brilliant all the way through and my new doors were fitted perfectly and better still the quality of the doors are 10 x better than what I had. I had Verdi back in 6 months later to fit a new front door and some windows. Again, good communication, fitting & quality products. The fitters were also pleasant & respectful. Would highly recommend.
