Matthew was incredibly nice, respectful, and friendly throughout the entire process. He took the time to answer all of our questions, no matter how many times we asked, and always made sure we understood everything clearly. He provided helpful suggestions, offered clarifications when needed, and wasn’t afraid to ask management for additional information to ensure we received the most accurate answers possible.
His willingness to help and genuine customer-focused attitude made the experience enjoyable and stress-free. It was a 10 out of 10 experience, and I would highly recommend both Matthew and Vertu to anyone looking to purchase a car.

I went in to have my car serviced on…
I went in to have my car serviced on 13/04/2026, unfortunately I had a 2 hour wait for this procedure. I had no problem with this and the service was completed within the 2 hours. With a lot of time on my hands, I thought that a walk round the showroom/ forecourt and view what was on offer. I spoke to Marcus whilst I was there and came out owning a new car. I picked it up on 21//04/2026. Marcus kept me up to date with everything from initial order to picking it up. Whilst Marcus is a novice salesman for Vertu Peugeot, I found that he was very pleasant and friendly, and knowledgeable. No pressure selling at all.

Vertu Peugeot Derby. First rate experience.
Saw a vehicle I was interested in on the web and contacted the Derby branch. Reserved the vehicle and went to view it a couple of days later. Matthew,the sales person was very helpful and did me a walk around video of the car concentrating on the areas of particular interest to myself. On the day of the viewing he sent me another message to advise that the vehicle was all prepped & fuelled for a test drive. I really liked the car when I saw it and a test drive sealed the deal. Negotiations ensued relating to trading in my existing vehicle and a range of options were offered on the new car (warranty, insurance's, Diamond Bright etc) and a deal was done. I was very happy with the whole experience. All the staff we dealt with where polite and helpful. We were offered drinks and made to feel quite relaxed. I would certainly recommend Vertu and would have no hesitation in returning to purchase a vehicle off them again in the future. As it stands at the moment I found the car I was after with the spec and colour that I liked,with minimal fuss . I found the completion of the paperwork straight forward with Matt's help and he even explained to me what I needed to do to sort my private number plate as I had never swapped it over to a new vehicle.
Thanks to all I dealt with at Vertu it was an enjoyable experience (and the new car is GREAT!)

Bought a used car. Mixed feelings so far
Bought a used car.
Did a test drive, liked the car and sales staff were all friendly. car was recently MOTd and Vertu had serviced it.
Was unable to get the finance as per the advert due to the age of the car so worked out more per month so I arranged my own finance and sold my old car.
Arranged to collect the new used car, signed everything off and drove of home.
Unfortunately the car seemed to be misfiring. After a repair and still experiencing misfiring I decided to take a refund.
The sales and service staff all gave a good experience and refunds have been processed with no quibbles.
Just waiting for V5 for final cancellation.

Definitely using Vertu again Rob was gem
Definitely using Vertu again, had a problem with my 3008 booked it in at derby arrived, booking in was seemless Rob was there to answer any questions
Was sent a video of the issues found and the repair costs no pressure
Before picking up my car Rob personally rang me to say that a serious RTA had closed the A38 and traffic was at a standstill and did I want them to look after my car till the following morning what great service and Rob is a credit to your company

Excellent service throughout
Having purchased a Brand new car from another dealership and having to reject it due to its many faults, I was very nervous about buying something else .
We chose Derbys Vertu Motors Peugeot
We were greeted by a lovely friendly guy at customer services who chatted with us explaining the process and then introduced us to Adam our salesman .
We sat down explained all about the problems we had previously and still encountering from Statstones
Adam listened advised us on the different finance options available to us was very knowledgeable on all cars available great sense of humour and most of all very patient
We had test runs in 2 different cars
Nothing was too much trouble and by this time we had the finance manager also running around helping Adam
Was a lovely experience with them compared to the other awful experience. Previously .
Adam was on hols for a week so Tom took over and couldn't do enough to alay my fears
I would definitely recommend this branch of vertu motors
The handover was exciting in the end and I love my new car .
I also want to say thank you to the team who answer the calls all who are so friendly polite and courteous and very helofull every time I've rung. them
