A seamless car buying experience
Marcus made the car buying process a pleasure and Vertu York had just the car we wanted in stock. They were flexible and helpful with organising accessory fitting, part exchange and collection and they will be our first port of call when we are ready to change vehicle next time.

The whole process was very quick and easy. I went through Autotrader and saw the car I wanted straight away. I must recommend Marcus at York Clifton Moor. He went above and beyond to get me my car. The car is absolutely stunning and I’m very impressed with the service.

Friendly and personal service
We were looked after right from the initial online response to an ad. Matt Holmes arranged an appointment for us to visit the York dealership and view/try any model. We were interested in a Symbioz and he found just what we wanted in the colour and trim and just 18 months old. So far so good!

Vertu Renault York. Having purchased a car from them I found the service team to be rude and unhelpful. Book my car in for a service dropped In at 8am, at 3:15pm the vehicle was still untouched and parked where I left it. No reason given unhelpful in offering explanation as needed car to collect kids from school which they knew. So collected my car and booked it in at a more reliable and helpful garage. Well done Vertu! Wont be using or recommending to friends / colleagues.

A great experience
Very friendly and helpful staff, not pushy at all and nothing was too much trouble.
Matt was great, from test driving the car to collecting it he kept us informed about everything. The whole process was easy and hassle free. Would recommend.

I told Vertu what I wanted, on a message from their website (Renault Vertu, York) I absolutely hate cold callers, so I asked for a quote for what I wanted, with the message not to call me, and to put their quote back in e mail. They duly obliged, so I went for a test drive in a Renault 5 Comfort, with salesman Matt Holmes, who, didn’t pressure me at all. I liked the car, although I was considering buying a Kia electric too, which was a bit more money, but, to be fair, a bit bigger car too. We sat down, and did a bit of talking in the dealership. Everything was made simple to do, and the deal was ok for me, a little bit of give n take included, which, after 40 years self employed selling Aggregates, topsoils, sand/gravels, tarmac etc, I know their is a fine line in dealing to stay in business. The deal was good for both of us. The handover was very professional, by Matt, and I’m now in the process of learning all about electric cars, with the knowledge that if I’m stuck on anything about the new car, I can call to get help. This is the 3rd time I think I’ve dealt with Vertu, one new BMW from York, one second hand from Malton Vertu, and now this new Renault. Well pleased at the moment.
