The whole experience of buying my new car was made so easy by Susan Fairchild who was very professional and easy to get on and I felt comfortable with my dealing with her on all levels and have finished the deal with a vehicle I am extremely happy with due the professionalism of Susan in explaining the deal we ended up with which left me convinced that the move to electric was the best move to make for me.

I am a first time customer of Vertu…
I am a first time customer of Vertu Škoda Chesterfield, so wasn’t sure quite what to expect.
To say I’m thoroughly delighted with the service received would be an understatement.
From the moment I first placed my order, to collecting my new vehicle, I was made to feel special by the staff at Chesterfield Škoda.
When collection day arrived, I was once again astounded by the level of service afforded to me.
Upon arrival, I was told that my car was in the show room, covered with a lovely red bow on it.
I have purchased many new Škoda cars in the past elsewhere, and have never experienced this before.
I happened to mention that I collect Škoda merchandise, so my sales person kindly left a couple of gifts in my new car.
The car itself, once uncovered , and bow removed, was presented to me in pristine condition, just as a new car should be.
The hand over was conducted very professionally, and as much time as I required was allocated to me.
I really did feel like a VIP, bravo Vertu Škoda, whom will be my go to Škoda retailer from now on.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would , I wish to extend a special thank you to my salesperson Susan Fairchild, and the whole team at Vertu Škoda Chesterfield, for making my purchase journey so pleasurably memorable.

I’m fussy about detail and they chased down the information for every single query. Good deal and a good car. Post purchase issues and queries were resolved immediately. IVertu Škoda Chesterfield
My sister booked herFiat 500 into Vertu Škoda Chesterfield for a routine service under a prepaid service plan. What should have been a straightforward appointment turned into a stressful and disappointing experience.
The vehicle was booked in at 1:30pm and she was advised it would be ready for collection by 4:30pm. Shortly before the agreed collection time, she was informed that there was an issue with the sump plug and that I would be facing additional costs. Prior to this service, she had never been advised of any sump-related concerns despite the vehicle having been serviced by the dealership for several years.
From that point onwards, communication was poor and information provided by staff was inconsistent. She was initially told the vehicle was not driveable and that replacement parts could take several days to obtain. However, within minutes her husband sourced the required part himself at a significantly lower cost than the dealership had quoted and arranged delivery the very same day.
When she raised concerns about how the damage had been identified and whether it could have occurred during the servicing process, she was met with resistance rather than transparency. Despite repeatedly requesting clear explanations and supporting evidence, she was left with more questions than answers.
The situation worsened when she attended the dealership in person. Different members of staff provided conflicting accounts, requests to view evidence were refused, and the level of professionalism expected from a main dealer was noticeably lacking. In particular, overhearing a member of staff tell another customer to “just ignore her” while I was attempting to resolve a legitimate complaint was both upsetting and wholly unacceptable.
Ultimately, the vehicle left requiring further inspection elsewhere, resulting in additional inconvenience, lost time and expense. Rather than feeling valued as a long-standing customer, she felt dismissed and blamed throughout the process.
She said she understand that mechanical issues can arise; however, it is how a business responds to those situations that defines the quality of its customer service. Unfortunately, her experience with Service Manager at Vertu Škoda Chesterfield has left her with no confidence in their customer care, complaint handling procedures, or willingness to properly investigate customer concerns.
Based on her experience, I would defiantly recommend this dealership. Update 8th July she and her husband have now been banned from Vertu motors after registering a court claim against them.

Bought a second hand Škoda Elroq part exchange. Anthony was good to deal with. When I picked the car up Scott was very helpful especially when it developed a fault. The team got it sorted straight away. Good customer experience.

My new Škoda Elroq developed a fault and had to go back for repair. The service I have received from Joe & Daniel in the service department and also Jason the dealer principal has been fantastic. Jason also texted me during his holiday with an update and contacted the deputy manager to call me. I will definitely use this trustworthy and decent showroom again and highly recommend. This is the first time i have used Vertu motors and the staff in the Chesterfield branch have been fantastic.
