Easy to find the right car and good value deal

As a single lady of a certain age the last time I went looking at cars I found the staff condescending and pushy. My experience this time was the absolute opposite. I dealt mainly with Liam but found all the staff at Knaresborough were welcoming and helpful. The whole experience was very enjoyable with my lovely new Corsa being the cherry on the cake.

Upon arrival at Vertu Vauxhall Motors Knaresborough, we were welcomed by Liam who enquired as to the purpose of our visit. This was to enquire about a car we’d found on their website located in a different part of the country. For all sorts of reasons, this car turned out to be unsuitable, but Liam and his manager, Jack, quickly found another one. By the end of the visit, we had agreed a deal subject to a test drive, The car was available for us to try out 3 days later, when we decided to purchase. We would like to thank Liam for a looking after us so professionally and give him 10 out of 10. Subsequent thanks to several staff for answering questions as to how to get my ‘phone to stream music, as, although Liam explained this, there was so much to take in, by the following day I’d forgotten. Altogether, an excellent experience and we highly recommend this particular dealership.

Liam was excellent from start to finish, he never made us feel backed into a corner was helpful and explained everything.
When it came to pick the car up he explained all the information in detail and came outside to give us a demo of the controls I will definitely recommend Vertu Motors Harrogate and Liam

Jack & Tom, made the experience easy and actually helped us to find the car rather than most garages which simply point you to the website. Made arrangements to help us get the vehicle ahead of schedule to meet personal commitments. Good experience.

Richard was fantastic really patient and understanding helpful outstanding customer service skills found us a car explaining everything and contacted us a couple of days after to check we were doing ok with it

A special shout out to Liam at Knaresborough Vauxhall! He found the perfect used electric car with the help of his lovely manager (who has recently left for another position). They made the purchase and trade in a breeze and helped me achieve the price I could afford. They can't do enough for you so I would highly recommend!!

Stay away from this company if you can ,but they have the monopoly over Harrogate don't buy extended car warranty or let then give it to you as a deal breaker, legal scammer

nothing from start to end i had to do all the chasing. could not even get my name right was called Ms instead of Mr.the bank details i was given was wrong so had to phone them back for the right name .was told salesman would phone and settle everything tomorrow. i had to phone them to be told he was having a day off(had to phone every day was told several time i would be phoned back but they never did) .next day i had to phone them again to be told the car would be delivered tomorrow. i then told them to make sure the title Ms was changed to Mr and was told that it had been. received the car mid afternoon. the car was very dusty and was not very clean. missing was the new battery and two new tires the manager had told me had been put on when the car had been service (have not check the new spark plugs) had missing washer bottle cap Emailed for a replacement but got no response . had to run the delivery guy to a bus stop so he could get a bus home. when i got home checked the paper work that came with the car the invoice said Mr all the rest still Ms on them. one week later got log book with Ms on it and nor Mr every time i talk to them i said make sure you change the title to Mr. so i have had to send it back to get it changed customer service is none existence not planing on buying another car an time soon but won't be using vertu motors Knaresborough again
