RUDEST STAFF/FALSLY ACCUSE THEIR GUESTS AND BARGE INTO YOUR ROOM-WORST HOTEL STAY
I stayed at The View hotel in North Sydney for 2 nights, myself and my company were having a fabulous time until one of the staff came up and woke us up to falsely accuse us of smoking in the room and embarrassed me , she told me that it takes 5 days to get the smell out of a room and if I had been smoking in the room, I would be charged , she demanded me to open the room and let her in and she couldn’t back peddle enough when she could not smell one trace of smoke in my room because no one EVER smoked in the room , she did not apologise and she completely ruined the rest of our stay at the hotel . We could not wait to get out of there, we did not even stop to have our remaining buffet breakfast . The staff member was wrong and she knew it but she did not apologised , she was very rude and demanded to come into my hotel room that I PURCHASED for 2 nights to not be WRONGFULLY ACCUSED of something .
I brought this up with reception but they did nothing and they we’re not accommodating or apologetic.
It was a horrible stay, the staff need to learn some customer service and I will be telling everyone I can about my stay and how I was treated , word of mouth goes a long way and I would hate it if this happens to anyone else, it was not a nice feeling and really wreaked the mood of the rest of the stay..who wants to deal with hotel staff whom accuse you of something,treat you so rudely and demand to come into your room when you had been asleep .
I normally stay in the city at The Sheraton or The Intercontinental, I thought I would try this hotel as I had some business to do in North Sydney but I regret my choice for how I was treated .
My room smelt nice and fresh when I left and I made staff check, I even asked a guest .
I’m so mortified what happened to me that I need this to be heard and taken further .
Today being the 23/1/24… 2 days after my stay and reception “Carol Abad” has just gotten in touch with me to further insult me and for this reason, I’m taking this matter further. How dare The View Hotel and their Reception staff still lie and make me feel horrible (but in a nice way😂😂) they need to learn people skills and I 100% recommend people to choose another Hotel for their stay to avoid abuse. I’m so upset that I have not received an apology . Absolutely the worst ever hotel experience iv had. PLEASE BE WARNED
