I reached out to Viking Wheels one day before my travel due to a misunderstanding and cancellation of my former rental. Rey and Ivar were so kind and helpful—super responsive. They kept me updated on an incoming blizzard and provided me with recommendations for places to visit and other relevant information to make my trip feel smooth and safe around Iceland.

A great plus that they offer pick up and drop off service with the car.

I really appreciated the ease of getting in touch with the company through WhatsApp! It was also comforting to have someone in the country to reach out to with different travel inquiries, especially when traveling alone.

Definitely recommended, and when I'm back in Iceland, I'll book with them again!

Ivar and Reynir were incredibly helpful from before the booking right until the end of our trip. They were very flexible and always answered our questions quickly. They are truly lovely people, and it was a pleasure chatting with Ivar while he drove us back to the airport!

Ich habe zum zweiten Mal bei Viking Wheels ein Auto gemietet. Wieder war alles total umkompliziert, ich wurde sogar auf einen Rabatt für Wiederbucher aufmerksam gemacht, den ich übersehen hatte. Danke dafür ! Der persönliche Service von Ívar und Rey perfekt, das Auto wurde zu meiner Unterkunft gebracht und am Ende dort wieder abgeholt. Kostenloses Wifi an Bord war sehr hilfreich. Sie informierten mich während meiner Fahrt auch über eine Sturmwarnung im Süden. Ich hatte dieses Mal leider unterwegs einen kleinen Schaden auf der Windschutzscheibe und habe mir trotz Versicherung Sorgen gemacht, aber Ívar war ganz entspannt bei der Übergabe. Für mich ist Viking Wheels die beste Autovermietung, die ich je in Island hatte und kann sie uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

We recently rented a car in Iceland, and the service was fantastic! The rental company provided incredible advice on destinations, road safety, and signage. Available during the whole rental period, and continued to give tips if we asked. Sent information about a ferry when we couldn’t find information in english. Fast answers, and very nice service. Unlike many others, they didn't charge extra for handling a parking ticket. The pickup and drop-off service was super convenient and flexible, allowing us to adjust the times. Plus, the cars were new and in excellent condition. Highly recommended!

We were picked up directly from our accommodation by Viking Wheels Car Rental and driven to our rental car. The car was very new and therefore in excellent condition. The vehicle’s hotspot worked perfectly, and we used it frequently during our trip.

We also received great recommendations for useful apps regarding roads, weather, and parking. Whenever we had a question, whether before or during our tour, we received a very quick response. This applied not only to questions about the car but also to general inquiries.

The return process was very straightforward. We dropped off the car at the agreed location and were then driven back to our accommodation in another vehicle.

We had an excellent experience with Viking Wheels Car Rental and would highly recommend them! We were in Reykjavik for the day while aboard the Emerald Princess. We rented two vehicles for our family to explore the area around Reykjavik. We had done this in other locations in Iceland as well, but this was by far the best car rental experience we had! They brought the cars to the port for us, and met us as we disembarked from the ship to complete the paperwork. Not only was the process super convenient and efficient, the price was the most economical of all our car rentals in Iceland. The guys were super helpful and definitely went above and beyond to make our experience in Reykjavik the best possible. Absolutely the best car rental experience we have ever had!!

Amazing service. Rey and Ívar are super nice and professional. Prices are better than other car options. They pick you up from your place to take you to the car. They are always ready to answer back. Give them a try! so much better option than other more mainstream companies.

Viking Wheels provided amazing service through the entire rental process! I really appreciated that Reynir and/or Ívar promptly responded to my questions and addressed all of my concerns. Their outstanding customer service led me to choose Viking Wheels. Reynir and Ívar truly went above and beyond, even reaching out to check on us and make sure we knew a weather warning was posted for strong winds, ice, and snow. They assured us we were safe as they had equipped the car, a Dacia Duster, with new all season tires, not just standard summer tires. We loved that the vehicle was a dieseI so it had great fuel efficiency and it handled all the weather and types of roads we experienced. We loved the zippy SUV. It was clean and well equipped with WiFi providing access everywhere we travelled during our 2 week adventure. We have nothing but gratitude and praise for this company and their incredible customer service. I highly recommend using this customer focused company. You will not be disappointed!
