Village Malú Opiniones 

We hebben zonet een verblijf van 2 weken achter de rug. We werden bij het toekomen vriendelijk verwelkomt door de papa van Marco die ons een rondleiding gaf in de villa. De villa was proper. We waren hier als een gezin met 4p. De villa was goed uitgerust: keuken, wasdraad en wasrek buiten, wasmachine, vaatwasmachine,... Het zwembad is heel ruim met uitzicht op de bergen, super mooi! Leuk dat er een robot was, want deze was wel nodig om het proper te houden. De communicatie met de eigenaar en papa verliep heel vlot en vriendelijk. Marco is heel behulpzaam bij vragen, het geven van tips rond restaurants, excursies, .... De pasta workshop bij Giuseppe die ze aanbieden is zeker ook een aanrader! We hebben een auto gehuurd. De winkels, restaurants, excursies, ... zijn meestal op een halfuur rijden. Deze villa is een aanrader als je op zoek bent naar een vakantiewoning in een (zeer) rustige omgeving in Sicilië.

The hosts are amazing and always an email away. It is remote but this was we wanted A taste of real Sicily. We were about 30 minutes away from lovely little towns with lovely beaches. The villa was spacious and pool ideal for children

Beautiful villa with a swimming pool just a few minutes from the village of Castroreale.
The villa can comfortably accommodate up to 10 people, with some bedrooms also featuring private bathrooms.
The living room is spacious and the kitchen is fully equipped (including a dishwasher). The hosts also provide several hairdryers, as well as an iron and ironing board.
The highlight of the villa is undoubtedly the outdoor area, with ample parking for 2–3 cars and a garden with a heated pool overlooking the hills of the Milazzo hinterland.
Castroreale can be reached in less than 5 minutes by car, and Milazzo in about 30 minutes.
Marco and his family were extremely kind and always available to accommodate our requests and recommend restaurants and activities in the area

I have passed a nice weekend with my family and friends. Village Malù is the best way to discovery north-east Sicily and Aeolian Island. Also, I have seen Castroreale, the most important small village in Messina’s province.
So, I suggest to spend your time in Village Malù ASAP because the owner and staff are very helpful and greatly to welcome you!!!

We recently stayed at village Malu and I have to say what an amazing place. The decor, surroundings and not mention the pool were 5*. We had everything we needed and if needed assistance was only a message away.
The villa provided us with a fantastic end to our travels through Italy and Sicily.
In the lead up to our stay we were fully informed of what’s going on and we were given information on local attractions.
Its location is ideal to get away from busier areas but also close enough to explore what Sicily has to offer.
The only downside was that we only booked for a week. Next time we will book for longer.

Village Malu' un posto accogliente, pulito e immerso nella tranquillità. Posto bellissimo e molto curato in ogni dettaglio super accessoriato.
Posto perfetto per passare delle piacevoli vacanze ma anche semplicemente per una domenica in compagnia e relax.

Our experience of staying at Villa Panarea in Rodì Milici (Me) was truly wonderful. This spacious, spotlessly clean and elegant Villa provided us with a perfect spot to enjoy a blissful week with our family. We couldn't have asked for a more fully equipped accommodation - both indoor and outdoor spaces were exquisite!

From the moment we arrived, we were smitten with the property and the kindness of the local people, particularly Marcello, who was keen to help us and give helpful advice which made our stay so pleasant and comfortable.

The villagemalu.com website is spot-on regarding Villa Panarea's description. We felt so lucky to have stayed in such an elegant, luxurious and stunning property. We enjoyed the fact that all bedrooms had balconies with spectacular northward views towards the Aeolian Islands, yet we still could enjoy gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, to the east and west, too. The beds were so comfortable and en-suites in each bedroom provided great convenience. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped for self catering, and we loved that there were various options for dining... in an elegant indoor dining room, more casually at a breakfast bar on stools, at a more intimate kitchen table or outside at a long table in the outdoor kitchen where we enjoyed using both the pizza oven and the BBQ.

The outdoor spaces were beautifully maintained and provided numerous opportunities for seating in so many locations- on the various patios, around the poolside, next to the hot tub on an elevated terrace and even in the outdoor kitchen where. And from each of these, you were rewarded with remarkable views.

While the facilities at the villa (both indoor and outdoor seating areas to relax in, the office area, the pool, the hot tub and the steam room) were plentiful and its location was truly well-placed to see the real Sicily. While we visited and enjoyed the more touristy spots of Mt Etna and Taormina during our stay, we felt the areas within a 20-30 minute drive of the villa gave us a true feeling for Sicily - places such as Milazzo, Tindari, Oliveri and the Museo Parco Jalari near Castroreale.

One of our top trip highlights though, was attending miller Guiseppi's Artisan Pasta Making workshop. We felt welcomed and at home immediately on his farm where we enjoyed an opportunity to sample various citrus fruits from his orchard, tasted fresh herbs foraged from his farm, visited his chickens, petted his gorgeous pet. sheep, and most importantly learned about the art of artisan pasta making from freshly ground local ancient grains. It didn't end there as we had a most delicious pasta lunch, too, made using the pasta we'd been part of making earlier!

We were grateful throughout our stay of the ongoing support and assistance of the Village Malú team, especially Marco, who was available throughout our stay via WhatsApp. He couldn't have been more responsive, helpful and kind. So if you've ever considered whether you should visit Sicily, do it! And stay in one of the Village Malú villas. You won't be disappointed!

Scenic Peaceful Villa in Sicily

I recently had a fabulous stay at this luxury and modern villa in Sicily. The villa is spacious, well-designed, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The open living areas are bright, with large windows offering beautiful views of the countryside - perfect viewing for sunsets!

The highlight is the outdoor space: a private pool, sunbathing area, and a charming garden that feels peaceful and secluded. We spent a lot of time on the terrace, enjoying meals with great views.

The villa is within walking distance of a lovely village Castroeale, which is a nice bonus. It’s has friendly locals and a few great spots to grab or food.

Overall, it’s a relaxing place to unwind, with easy access to the village and surrounding scenery. Highly recommended for a peaceful, stylish getaway.

Villa Panarea Sicily...
Wow! Wonderful 10 days in Sicily made extra special by the incredible Villa Panarea. It's a 5 star Villa and a 5 star service both by Marco from Village Malu villa agency and the owners Marcello (and family) who went the extra mile to make our stay even better (see pics of treats from local bakery they brought us). They recommended restaurants, shops, experiences and beaches. All in all a great family holiday. Would highly recommend. Note - you do need a car and you will need to do some driving to make the most of your holiday. Things to do... Wine tasting, trip to Taormina (cooking course chef Massimo) and great night out at local vineyard Antica Vindari.

The time in Village Malu was everything we wanted out of this trip - and it was perfect Italy-living. The pool is great and big, but the star of the show is the view! Sat there for hours to take it all in.

The villa is spacious with lots of room, but we spent most of our time outside anyway.

There are also a few Italian activities in the cute town as well, which is great for the kids.

Booking is easy and the host is quick to respond and a great help.

If we return to Italy or Sicily, we will definitely return to Village Malu!

It was so peaceful surrounding, amazing views on the top of the village can see the whole landscape from the villa pool side. The host is very welcoming us. We have also experienced some local restaurants, authentic hand made pasta… we were 6 of us, had great time discovered around and enjoyed the surrounding.

I was massively amazed of the view from the villa. The stunning sunset ocean views, overlooking the Aeolian islands is certainly worth the trip for a gateway from a busy city. The villa is well looked after, with a clean pool, clean beds and with all the necessary amenities available. I enjoyed experiencing the local town of Castroreale and the sights around it. I loved the traditional Sicilian architecture of the town. The villa is also surrounded by the famous olive tree with them growing around the hillside. I definitely recommend visiting this part of Sicily at this villa and Marco that looks after villa is incredibly helpful with any queries that I had.

We had such a wonderful week at Villa Malu. We are a family of four, with two teenagers and after exploring Catania, Taromina and Etna, the beautiful town of Castoreale and Villa Malu, was just what we needed to relax. The view from the Villa, especially at sunset, is beautiful. No pictures can do it justice. The pool was lovely, the space and facilities of the villa were great and to a high standard, and I cannot praise the villa owner and his family enough for their recommendations and responsiveness during our stay. We so enjoyed meeting them and learning more about the region. During our week, we enjoyed evening meals in Castoreale and a wonderful morning with a local miller, Giuseppe, making pasta from ancient Sicilian grains, tasting the fruit from his orchard, and then eating a lovely lunch with our pasta. Sicily is beautiful. If you would like to experience an authentic Sicilian town, and support local business, I would recommend a stay here.
