Getting through the door can be tricky as I’m disabled(heavy door) but once inside the waiting area is lovely, spacious and clean. The reception team are friendly and helpful and try to put your dog at ease with some treats to help calm them if they are nervous.
You can always book the same vet so they get to know you and your dog and Megan is wonderful.
I have private prescriptions issued and I find the then having to order then contact the surgery who then contact the supplier a complicated process it would be far easier to issue a prescription. I know this is not the only vet’s practice that does this and why.

Don’t let this put you off I have only had good experiences at Village Vets with Megan.

The staff are always friendly and welcoming. I would particularly like to thank Rosie for her care of Darcy after het recent eye injury.

We are regular visitors to this practice Charlie is a very demanding boxer and had lots going wrong in her young life but loves going to this vet practice on more often than not a weekly attendance!!All the staff are lovely with her and she loves a ruff and tumble with anybody willing to take her on. Quite embarrassing as no matter how rotten she feels the minute she gets into the waiting room her tail never stops wagging!!

Cannot recommend Bronagh enough. I have complete faith in her navigating her way through the health issues Murdo has had. She is honest, thorough and reliable.
Reception staff and nursing staff all contribute to make the whole experience a very positive one.

What a wonderful veterinary practice this is . It isn’t our normal vets , we are registered here because we have a static caravan locally . We have been a few times over the years , and without exception found it to be an excellent vets with very friendly and professional staff who are an asset to the practice . Service is 1st class and costs are very reasonable indeed 10 out of 10 !

Everyone is so kind as soon as you walk through the door. Oscar my 12 year old cat has been poorly lately and everyone from the receptionists to the vet nurses and vets have been so kind with Oscar and myself. The treatment that Oscar has received has been second to none.

Took my dog in for a check up , nurses and receptionist was very friendly as always . They made a fuss of Duncan as he loves the attention. Went in to see the vet Christina, she checked Duncan over and discussed my concerns. She put my mind at ease and give me some good information and help. Would definitely recommend village vets always friendly and helpful , and give your animals best care possible .

I’ve been using Village Vets Crosby & Formby for a few years now for my dogs care, they were actually recommended to me by our previous vet as that practice was closing. He wasn’t wrong! On every visit my dog is treated like the queen she is, her care is wonderful & we have full trust in them. I would recommend 💯%

We lost our Beloved Elmo today after devastating news after X-rays yesterday. Ben the young Vet at Crosby was a credit to the branch and industry. His patience and understanding of the heartache I was enduring from such a young man was inspiring. Thank you Son for making the hardest day of my life bearable.

If you need a place for your pet, then this is it ! The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. You get comprehensive information on all aspects of care, which is very reassuring, I felt like our kitten was part of the family.

Nothing worse than an appointment problem. All sorted without any trouble as is normal with our great team at Village Vets.

My dog Pixie runs into Village Vets Formby where she is made very welcome, told she is a cutie and is hand fed liver pate. She is currently receiving K-laser which has made a big difference to her mobility …she especially likes the gentle massage after it !!

Village Vets has been treating my cat for many years. In the last few weeks she has been seriously unwell. I feared that her end was nigh but due to the great care and attention that she received I think that she is on her way to a full recovery.

My cats have been patients here for 6 years. All the vets, nurses and staff are kind, friendly and take the time to really get to know my pets. They don’t push any expensive treatments or extras, and are happy to talk through issues. The app messaging service is very responsive, but equally they can always be contacted by phone. In emergencies, I’ve been able to see them within hours or less. I wouldn’t trust anyone else.

The staff are friendly and helpful. They remember my dog's name, always happy to see him. The clinic is clean and calm. In the 8 years we've been attending, we have always had the highest level of care

Top quality couldn’t be happier with the service Village Vets provides. They truly are very caring and nothing is too much trouble for them. They take the time to explain everything in clear and understandable language. Gold standard is the only way I could describe them and that applies to everyone you meet from reception to the nurses and vets. Excellent would give more stars if it was possible!

Spacious, friendly, welcoming feel as you go in. Separate, closed off area for cats. A real plus. Vets who listen and understand your concerns and treat you like an intelligent human being!!
