Very poor post-stay management and lack of response

Thank you for your response.
I understand that exceptional weather conditions played a role, and I do appreciate the efforts made on-site to address the situation.
However, my concern is not limited to the weather itself, but rather the overall impact on the experience and the way the situation was managed during and especially after the stay.
Several key elements of the villa were not fully available or did not meet expectations, and the overall service and coordination were inconsistent for a group of 10 people.
In addition, the lack of timely and consistent communication following the stay has been particularly disappointing.
While I acknowledge the gestures mentioned, I do not consider that they adequately reflect the impact of the situation on the overall experience.
I hope this feedback can be useful for improving both on-site coordination and post-stay customer management.

After a thorough review of the situation with our local partners, we would like to provide the following clarifications:
Weather Conditions: Your stay unfortunately coincided with exceptional weather conditions and flooding in Marrakech. These extraordinary circumstances directly affected the use of the pool and the garden. Despite this, technical teams worked to ensure the pool was operational and heated by the day after your arrival.
On-site Maintenance: The presence of staff was not related to construction work, but rather to essential cleaning and restoration efforts following the heavy rains, aimed at ensuring the property was safe and ready for your group.
Services and Transport: The charges mentioned correspond to additional services requested outside the initial contractual framework or to meet specific logistical needs of the group during the stay.
Goodwill Gestures: To compensate for the weather-related inconveniences, the owner provided full flexibility on check-in and check-out times, a massage session for the entire group, as well as complimentary laundry services and a dinner.
Finally, as a further commercial gesture, we offered a credit voucher for a future stay. We regret that this proposal, which comes in addition to the efforts already made on-site by the owner, was not accepted.
We have taken your comments into account as we strive to continually improve our service quality and follow-up processes.

We booked several times with Villanovo already. Unfortunately the Start this time was a bit disappointing since we didn‘t hear something for quite some time. Only when we contacted Riad directly the service became the quality we were used to get. From then on 5 Stars, before 2 Stars.

As a start dealing with villanovo was…professional
As a start dealing with villanovo was safe and professional.
The villa they selected for me based on my budget and needs.
Family had a great vacation in the villa, the staff was very kind and respectful. The chef cooks nice breakfast and chicken tagine. Everything was tidy in the house everyday, they change the towels in the bathrooms everyday, although some were not used yet.
I dont remember how i came across villanovo but it was from my website searches. Glad i found them.
Payment was smooth, and my security deposit was refunded in less than a week.
