Darren and the team were fantastic…
Darren and the team were fantastic tutors for the First Aid at Work course.
They were very accommodating, welcoming, and made the six hours genuinely engaging. I really appreciated the detailed feedback before awarding the certificate — it showed their commitment to making sure everyone was truly competent, not just completing the course.
A great experience overall, and I left feeling confident with the skills I learned.

Darren’s Jokes are a Hit!
Darren was fantastic! The course was very engaging and interactive with active participation rather than just being spoken to. Throughly enjoyed all aspects of the course, including speedy assessments with detailed feedback from Caroline which helped me improve my assessments and pass after re-submission. Highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn first aid!

The best first aid course
I've done 3 first aid courses now over the last 8 years. This was my first virtual one and has left me feeling the most confident in my abilities by far.
The course delivery was fun and engaging and the assessments were well thought out.
Also the resources available to me over the next 3 years are amazing.

Exceeded my expectations!!!
I wasn’t sure what to expect from doing a first aid course online, especially with the assessments needing to be recorded and submitted. However, it turned out to be easier than I thought, as I could simply send my videos via WhatsApp. Darren delivered the course brilliantly and I actually learned more than in any previous first aid courses I’ve done. My certification was close to expiring, and I was so grateful that my assessment was prioritised, it was marked the very same day, which far exceeded my expectations. The whole experience was smooth, clear, and easy to follow. I’m really happy with everything and would definitely recommend this course.

Fantastic experience & team
A huge thank you goes out to the team at VHF, they have been absolutely super throughout the whole process of me achieving my lvl 2 fitness instructor, lvl 3 personal trainer and the first aid certificates. Shout out to Mark Fox for the personal trainer course, he was great at delivering each session and managing to keep us all engaged through the long days and many assignments. Everyone was willing to lend a hand and answer questions at any time, even outside of the class hours.
Special thanks to Darren, who was very helpful and showed that he really cares about those he teaches and their prospects later in the industry.

Probably the best first aid course ive…
Probably the best first aid course ive done! Ive done a few before and the delivery has been very dull. But this was the opposite. Darren is absolutely fantastic. Keeps everyone engaged, keeps it fun and interesting, also has a great sense of humour. Loved the quick fire questions too keeping us on our toes 🤣 I can now go into my job feeling confident knowing what to do in an emergency situation.
Ideal way to learn emergency first aid without having to travel around too!
