Utterly Unhelpful and Poor customer service

Visa advised my bank to suspend my Visa debit card, as they told my bank the card had been compromised. I tried to get in touch with them to find out more details so I can ensure the offending source was notified. I tried ringing but every time I navigated the menu to talk to the appropriate dept their system disconnected me. Used the online chat facility on their web page and was told to contact my bank! Told them my bank said to contact them! Finally emailed and instead of a professional looking reply I got messages from a JM Tañada, with no corporate details or details to identify it as a legitimate reply. Whoever sent it did not have a clue. The message had multiple grammar errors and bad punctuation. It seems that Visa's systems have been compromised!!. In summary they have been totally unhelpful and unprofessional and have security issues. Still don't know how my card was compromised

This review is particular to Fidelity Visa Card

This review is particular to the Fidelity Visa Debit Card. I received a fraud alert that showed four (5) charges that weren't mine (not even close) across geographical areas (Thailand and US). They stopped the big ones but took their time refunding the small amounts. As of 2 weeks later, one is still outstanding and when I call they seem to just give canned answers.

risk of reputation

Visa an company, the whole purpose is to transfer money from point A to point B.
They don't need to know what someone is buying etc.

But recently, they thing, they are above the law.
They forcing other companies, developer etc to take something down, purely, because they dont like it.
It will risk our brand, they say.
Honestly i never tonight a singe time about the brand that is transferring my money.

Now i do.
The result of this, i don't use my Visa anymore
I still have it, but with zero transit.
Hope they loose money and costumers
They think they are above the law.

And the sad point is, that companies bail down because of them.
The reason,Visa and Mastercart have an de facto monopoly.

My hope the government will do something about it.
But i don't have high hopes.
They only want the control of people and the control of the market.

And now to wrap it up.
Do your f job and don't be an hidden entity that tries to get there believes on us.

Violation of consumer rights

Violation of consumer rights, human rights and discrimination against minorities and communities along with slander against said. Your job is to only proccess the payment, not to dictate what we can spend our money on. This assault on the general populations rights will not be tolerated.

Support refuses to help customers

Update: it has been 5 months since I wrote this review, and since then, I've sent 5 total emails to the askvisa email and received precisely ZERO replies. This includes a formal complaint against the support agent I mentioned originally as they actually pretended that they couldn't hear me, and further questions that deeply concern me related to the policy, none of which were worthy of their reply. I now understand that Visa is too poor to afford good customer service, and I wish them best of luck with their European market share after the EU digital money act gets implemented. Either way, won't have to waste my time like they wasted mine.

Original review:

I called their support line today to ask for clarification about a Visa Core policy that affects me as a game developer, but the agent refused to clarify it because it's "confidential" despite the PDF being publicly listed on the website, and then ended the call on their end without letting me answer. This is in stark contrast to Mastercard who were actually kind enough to provide an answer and opened an internal support case, whereas Visa recited some unrelated statement and then ended the call on their end. My email sent to them last Saturday about this issue received no response, not even an automated one, and it's been a full week since I sent it. I can't believe Visa of all companies has such an incompetent support team, but it's true.

No one voted to make you the arbiters of morality

The payment processor Visa is anti-freespeech and a threat to global "democracy". They caved to the whims of a fringe extremist group based in Australia (probably like six angry women), and now content creators and their fans all over the globe are suffering.

Failure of Visa Infinite and Their Nonexistent Fast Track Service

The Visa Infinite service is a complete scam. I ordered the Fast Track service through Visa Concierge for my arrival in Barcelona, but it turned out that this service does not exist at all. No representatives, no signage, no support—nothing! Why even offer and confirm vouchers for a service that doesn’t exist? This is blatant deception of customers.

As a result, I wasted a huge amount of time in queues, ruined my plans, and missed my transfer. This is not just disappointing, it’s a disgrace for a brand that positions itself as premium. If you cannot guarantee the promised benefits, don’t offer them at all!
