This short but amazing ride made my eldest sons day today as he is bus mad. The 2 lads were brilliant and friendly even showing my son the engine. Definitely will be going on again.

Beautiful well maintained bus (with more comfortable seats than modern ones!) - skilled driver and friendly conductor, not to mention cheap fares......'super, smashing, great!'

It's a lovely company to have running a nice style vintage bus around Scarborough

This company went the extra mile to accommodate us when others were less than enthusiastic to help. They provided a beautiful open top vintage double decker to take our guests to a party. It was the talk of the evening, they were buzzing when they got there and the vehicle attracted a good deal of attention in York on a Saturday night. Communication was great. To be recommended!

Unfortunately I have to disagree with the bus company. We were rail roaded into getting on your bus. You told everyone at the stop I was at that we would have to take bank loans out to travel on the competitors buses. You said that the service of the other buses is not as good as yours and to tempt us even more said I will do you a deal on your tickets because we would have to pay double to use the other bus companies. You told us that your service runs every 30mins.... No mention of any breaks in service at all, that has to be made clear... Also you never mentioned that your service stops at 5 so anybody travelling to North bay would have been stranded or would have had to pay for another service, an extra cost of £15-£20 to get back to south shore. In the response in the other comments, you state that another company said that no one was waiting at the stop. I can categorically say there were over 30 people waiting at least... Many of which were elderly. Some of the elderly people had to catch another service at extra cost as they couldn't wait any longer. A lot of people were waiting against the sea wall which is slightly set back from the stop as this was something to lean on with being stood up for so long. We saw your bus go past so decided to go to the bus stop to wait thinking you would return in the next half hour. Unfortunately we was waiting for an hour and 45 to 2 hours. It's ok that you say somebody from another service told you no one was there that's fine but it's a complete fabrication. When you did finally arrive the first thing you said, not knowing who at the time it was that called your office (who ended up being your partner at home) you said, haha someone rang up saying they want a refund and you said fat chance of that. How disrespectful is that. As a response to the "you could have used a different service with our ticket" we asked another company can we get on with the tickets... They said no. When we came to one of the stops a family got off the bus and made a complaint, we could hear what the family were saying and they were NOT disrespectful. Your conductor was waving his hands in the ladies face and shouting, I understand in your previous comments that you say he has autism... I have to say that is not an excuse. You can not raise your hands or shout to customers. The driver then got out and started waving his hands in the ladies face, then a man stepped in and said do not wave your hands in her face... I can only presume that it was her partner. I did not hear foul language or anyone being rude, I heard the truth and I just wish that I had of said something at the time as well because I can't sit here and see the people being slated when they are in the right. The company did not fulfill what they were meant to. In the end, it took another gentleman I'm assuming from the same family to talk to the driver. The driver said... I will give you a refund if you promise not to write any bad reviews or don't put anything on social media. The driver was bribing the man. He didn't want them to put anything on the internet. That's how they got a £10 refund. Purely to promise not to review on social media. To me this is disgusting!! I just wish that I had stepped in on the day and complained myself, the reason I didn't is because I had my girlfriend and my baby with us. I more to contend with with the baby. Please avoid this company, they will lie and tell you what they want you to hear just to use the service.

Used viscount travels a few times now. The whole team makes for a great experience, as their customer service is spot on. Very friendly and always happy to help. Found it extremely useful that their bus is dog friendly, (my dog loved the open top too). The bus itself is extremely tidy and well kept and always adds that bit more to your seaside pictures. Probably one of the best service busses around! Who wouldn’t want to sit on a vintage bus?!

A great setting on the Scarborough seafront, good time keeping with sufficient time to get off and explore the coast and get back for the return journey. Lovely old bus which brings the past generation back to life for the next generation to carry on experiencing.
Very friendly staff on the weekend my family and I used the service, especially the conductor making sure we had the best experience we could, we even got a ticket from the old “clippy” ticket machine, very nostalgic!
I would recommend having a go on this old bus as it’s a day out in its self, this is the only vintage seafront bus I have ever seen on my travels. Well worth the couple of quid!!

Had a wonderful experience on board the vintage bus. Ive always wanted to ride on an old fashioned bus and this definitely lived up to my expectations and more,
The conductor aboard the bus was really friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be riding the bus again on my next trip to Scarborough.

We used this service a couple of days ago and we were left waiting for an 1hr45mins for the return journey. It’s a disgrace , we had small children with us and it was a hot day. You undercut other buses to get people on yours and now I know why. Your service is shocking and customer service disgusting , you should be taken off the road ,

Use the other buses. We ended up having to use the yellow buses in the end
In reply to the comment you have put. I wasn’t part of a big group at all and I never swore at anyone, clearly your company has issues with being honest. I did wait an 1hr45mins with my small child
Also the other services were having to take your customers some of which were very old and obviously couldn’t stand around any longer waiting for your service
You are a disgrace with your reply to the reviews , and obviously don’t want people reading the truth on how bad your service is.

5 star service. I had a thoroughly enjoyable ride on an open top bus through the city. The driver and conductor were very friendly and the staff here go above and beyond for you. Highly recommend!

Very unreliable. Left us stranded in North Bay for hours after telling us they ran every half an hour. The driver and conductor were very rude when we complained. We should have gone with the other bus company that ran every few minutes. Shocking service. ADD ON AFTER READING REPLY: Well that wasn't me so i've no idea what you are talking about. There was actually over 30 people waiting when we was waiting. Two ladies even paid to get on another bus! Nobody had mentioned any break in service but it was actually over two hours and you yourself had actually slated the other bus companies over there pricing in order to tempt us to travel with you. I'd happily pay double to travel with them in the future and will avoid you. And i'm not a horrible person at all. You should work on your customer service skills a little. SECOND ADD ON... You are not talking about me. I was never abusive to you or anyone else and I take offence that you are saying I was. I was with my husband and our young grandaughter. You say the bus service person said nobody was waiting. That is a lie. There were lots of people waiting. We were sat on the sea wall opposite the shops waiting. We did speak to that man and we spoke to a couple of drivers from the other companies. Some of the other people asked if they could get on the other buses with your tickets and they couldn't. A couple of them paid again to use the other buses. Another family had words with you too as they were clearly very unhappy. Your bus is lovely but your service is unreliable. You can deny this as much as you like but that is my experience and my review of the service we recieved. We will not be using you again.I will keep adding on that I was in no way abusive to you or the conductor. This is completely untrue. I appreciate your other reviews are glowing. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Are you going to keep lying and saying I was abusive? You clearly have me mixed up with someone else. I may take this up with Scarborough Council. Oh and just so that you are aware, the other bus drivers also think your service is unreliable. And the guy at the side of the road told us you quite often vanish after 5pm. And let me assure you, I did NOT ask for a refund and was not offered one so you are clearly talking about someone else. I did not recieve a good service from this company and would advise people to use the other buses that are very regular and good value as you can use them all day. We had no problems the following day when we used shoreline buses and they are pram and wheelchair friendly.

We visited Scarborough for the first time in 25 years and amongst other things we really enjoyed our trip along the sea front in the vintage bus. The staff on board were exceptional and really added to the experience. Thanks folks !!!!

Fantastic service from start to finish. Thank you so much for making the prom really special for my daughter and her friends - they really did arrive in style !
