Disorganized host, broken promises and poor communication
We met Igor for the first time and immediately felt that he had everything under control and knew what he was doing. He promised to take care of all responsibilities for us, including communicating with guests, managing the listing, and handling check-in and check-out. While this sounded ideal, things went wrong from the very start. Guests who had questions sometimes had to wait more than a day for a response. Our first guests were left waiting outside for an hour and a half before someone arrived to let them in. Communication was poor, with very short answers and little explanation, so we ended up responding to guests ourselves. Igor also failed to keep his promise to secure our personal belongings. He also failed to return our apartment key after we asked him multiple times. We had to change the locks as a result. The only reason I am giving two stars is that the cleaning was reasonably well done. Overall, I found Igor to be a very unorganized host who is not suited for this type of work. At the end, he also tried to raise his commission from 20% by sending a higher invoice :(
