I want to express my complete and enduring gratitude to Dr. Peter D. Angevine, his superb medical team, and all the nurses at New York Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital who saw to my care before, during, and after ten hours of spinal reconstruction surgery. If Dr. Angevine were a painter rather than a surgeon, his name would be Rembrandt. His skills are incomparable, but he is far more than a brilliant technician. Without a doubt he is a world class surgeon, but beyond that he is also a good and thoughtful listener, friendly and open minded, and unfailingly honest. His kind and generous spirit allows him to take a holistic approach to his patients, and when you talk with him, you know you are being listened to and heard. The surgery he and his team performed on my behalf was certainly arduous - I think it would be fair to call it heroic - involving ten hours of delicate and difficult work, and the results were entirely favorable. Indeed, they were life changing, and I know that Dr. Angevine would be the first to credit his associates and praise them for their essential role. Everyone was incredibly kind and attentive. The post op nurses were great and did everything they could to hasten my recovery and set me on the road to complete healing. There are so many people to thank - literally dozens - and my head is full of names - Jane, Maureen, Malory, Anna, Escarole, Brianna (who was incredibly patient and saw me through a difficult portion of my recovery) - but I was heavily medicated, less than fully aware, and in the end I wasn’t able to keep track of all the people who cared for me in such a kind fashion. I wish I could name each and every one of them. My life has been changed by Dr. Angevine’s surgery, but I know he would join me in singing the praises of the large team that works with him before, during and after surgery to deliver good and enduring outcomes to his patients. I am one of those patients, and I know how lucky I am. My thanks to one and all.

I had the best experience today getting my diagnostic mammogram today!

Vitals is using some AI photo for many doctors. I’ve seen the same few photos for many different doctors who did not upload a personal photo. They are forcing doctors to claim their own profile and upload their own photo in order to replace the AI photo.

Once was a decent site to research doctors, and now, like heathgrades, it does not show any other patient reviews lower than five stars. The doctor I viewed had 12 reviews, 4 were shown and those were 5 stars. Worthless site.

For two years, I had bladder treatments at Mount Sinai/South Nassau with Stephanie Esperance, Nurse Practitioner. Stephanie is so kind and so patient and always professional. She exudes confidence in whatever she says and does. Although the treatments were working, they weren't enough to correct my issue. Stephanie suggested an implant that would greatly help my overactive bladder. So when she recommended something different/better, I believed her wholeheartedly. She was so right!! The implant has changed my life and I'm so grateful for Stephanie's guidance.

I was in an allergic crisis. Dr. Roger N. Danziger, MD saw me on an emergency basis. His questions, examination and medical advice including prescriptions were very effective. He saw me again within the week to followup as well as treating me in the office with a breathing treatment. He is so very thorough in practicing his specialty. I recommend him highly to anyone in need of allergy interventions.

This is a bogus, fake website. Anyone can be a "self-verified patient" of Dr. Somebody. I've left myself several glorious reviews even hinting that I am leaving them for myself and the website still publishes them without any real "review." It's a complete joke of a website and not worth wasting any real decision-making time on.

Vitals.com, owned by WebMD, allows anonymous reviews of physicians. I am the business manager for a radiologist and saw a review on Vitals.com about this physician that was blatantly false and libelous. This unknown person accused the physician of skewing his reports to cover up surgeons' mistakes. To add insult to injury, Vitals.com published the same review TWICE and counted the bad rating twice. If the review that was posted was true, it would be grounds to take away his medical license! Vitals.com makes it virtually impossible to contact them; they never responded to my "contact us" form. I I finally talked to someone at WebMD who said one can't address bad reviews if one has the "basic" profile page. Of course, you have to pay for a level up. This is blatant extortion. It is beyond me how they get away with this.
