We had an air source heat pump, solar panels and radiators installed a year ago. We highlighted issues during and after the work to little affect. We still have damage unresolved and pipe work not up to code.
The installation was an awful experience.
The companies doing the work were disrespectful of our home and damaged our property. When we asked them to tidy up after themselves they passed the blame and gave excuses. The plumbers arrived when they pleased and disappeared off to lunch breaks for hours on end without telling anyone meaning we were trapped at home all day waiting for them to come back. We had to cancel plans and keep the dogs segregated for far longer than needed. Despite them knowing we have dogs they left the front door open constantly, left tools and rubbish lying around even after they had gone home and didn’t tell us they had spilt screws and medication and not tidied it up. They left wood shavings everywhere from drilling through beams, off cuts of pipe and insulation, and empty cardboard boxes throughout the house. We found their rubbish hidden behind things it couldn’t have fallen down and all over the garden and driveway. They only swept up in the final day after us repeatedly asking them to. No rubbish was removed at the end of the job and was just left on our driveway and around our house. When they swept up they just filled on of our buckets with their rubbish and had carelessly swept up our personal belongings too. The rubbish on the driveway included their lunch rubbish and they had moved our personal tools out into the pile too. They left screws everywhere including on the driveway which caused me to have to replace the tyre on my car after it was punctured. It took months to fully clear up the rubbish as they had put rubbish behind furniture and appliances. The dogs kept finding and chewing up insulation off cuts they found. They fitted the radiators by drilling through removable boards. They cut a section of beam out from a stud wall instead of drilling through. They removed excessive amounts of brickwork from between beams unnecessarily. They have left push fit pipes unsupported and hanging below where the ceiling should be. The insulation on the hot pipes is patchwork and poor quality leaving many gaps.
The solar installers were lovely and respectful however didn’t bring sufficient ladders to reach the roof and without asking borrowed one of our ladders from the house. This was too short meaning it leant entirely on our slate roof. They put their foot through a slate leaving a sizeable hole you could see inside the attic through and damaged tiles by the gutter where the ladder rested. Our roof now leaks since the panels went on and they moved a slate to feed the cables through cutting the felt excessively and leaving a gap that rain comes through. When I raised the hole in the roof with Warma they said they would get it fixed. We heard nothing more despite chasing it. They tried to dispute that the roof was already damaged despite photos clearly showing differences from before and after the work happening. They never fixed our roof and we were left with a hole directly into our attic.
The electricians damaged plasterwork when installing the fuse box and patched some of it using expanding foam.
Warma planned for the hot water tank to be in the attic space but when it arrived it was too big so had to be put in a cupboard upstairs. Something we didn’t want but were given no option about. We didn’t agree to it going where it has been put. The plumbers said we could have had a different tank to do the same job that would have fitted in the attic but this was never explored as an option.
Several radiators that were fitted were damaged on or before installation these have not been replaced or fixed. One radiator was not even fitted and was taken away again despite it being on the plans to be fitted. One radiator is too small for the room it’s in so not sufficient.
The plumbers used our hoover without asking leaving it with wet dust and wood chips in. This not only caused the hoover to mould but as it didn’t have a bag in at the time also damaged to motor so not the hoover does not work effectively.
The whole experience was stressful, invasive and appalling. We have been left with issues they have acknowledged but haven’t fixed.
The only positive of the whole process was that we now have heating something we had been without for a few years.
Our house is our home yet was treated like a building site. We spent several days after they had left sweeping, hoovering and cleaning up after them. A rubbish collection was arranged and we were told we would be informed of the collection date and time so we could ensure all rubbish was outside ready to go. We weren’t informed so were left with half the rubbish to dispose of ourselves.
Awful experience No help after
The customer service is absolutely appalling. The company makes big promises and false claims, yet four weeks later I’m still left with incomplete work, no communication, and literally a hole in my wall.
The manager has been unresponsive for months, only replying once when I mentioned making a complaint. While the workmen staff were friendly and try to help, upper management and the company as a whole are completely disgraceful.
I’ve never experienced such incompetence. Stay clear.
It's a real shame that their communication/customer service is so appaling I have had questions about my room in roof insulation and have been asking for answers for nearly a year now, I have been passed around to different people, fobbed off and now totally ignored...I have emailed and left countless messages which are now being completley ignored...have they gone bust? as they never answer the phone and thier cust service phone line has been cut off.
Started well, but communication was extremely poor and it ended up taking months and huge amounts of chasing to get to the point of sending out a surveyor. I later discovered that they hadn't actually sent the required info to my council. They are now completely unresponsive, phones disconnected and a look on companies house suggests they went into liquidation in late 2025 (during my application and nobody told me), so I've wasted countless hours on this and am back where I started and have missed out on the deadline for the funding. Extremely frustrating!
We had Warma Uk install solar panels, batteries and inverter, Airsource heat pump, tank, pipe work and rads.
Also internal wall insulation, ceiling insulation and soft insulation in attic spaces plus ventilation.
Some work was paid for by us and most was paid for via a grant.
Our overall experience was very poor with many Warma contractors coming here and doing terrible quality work but some work being done better.
I could go on and on about mistakes and poor quality work but il keep it short.
Heat pump, tank and rads etc were installed ok but all other aspects of the work were bad or shockingly bad.
Some of it was put right ( mainly by my builder who Warma had to pay to do this) some by Warma contractors and some by me (including a Warma contractor giving me money to sort it rather than me complaining about him!)
Some of the insulation issues were never resolved and after months of chasing Warma and the insulation contractor I am now having to pay for insulation and install it myself. ( and that was after this area was signed off as complete once. Then I complained as was incomplete. and it was redone and signed off as complete again and then I spotted 20m2 +area in loft was not insulated at all after the second sign off 😂😂 unbelievable!
I chased and chased but didn’t get anywhere, Warma and contractors very friendly in the phone though and promise the world 👍
Really this should be a 1 star review but don’t want people think I’m just a disgruntled customer. So they just scraped a 2 star🙂
They took 2 years and 9 visits to get the system functioning correctly leaving us with a £1500 debt to our energy supplier. Don't answer emails and refuse to acknowledge that they are responsible for the massive increase in electricity costs. Spent 2 winters at 16.5 degrees to keep the bill down.
Avoid this company at all costs. They do very poor quality work and refuse to put it right. Who lays insulation ontop of loft boards? I'm not expert but I know enough to know this isn't right.
Im so upset and disappointed in this company. Sadly , my heating and hot water went off 16 days ago. Im a pensioner with health issues. They very kindly sent a man out , who was in my home for 15 mins, he managed to get heating on, told me hot water would need longer, woke up following morning to find no heating, no hot water, came out a further week later, to say it was all fixed, second time woke up next morning to heating and hot water for approx 4 hours, a week later the system has let me down again im now on day 16 still waiting for a response from the gent that was due out a week ago tomorrow, still waiting, still with some radiators that dont work, still no hot water. Not good service, at all . I have contacted company on several occassions, not even the courtesy of a response, I am now seeking advice to take this further. I find it incredibly frustrating and disgusting service in 2026. I wandered how they would feel if it was kne if their old parents, living like this.
Constantly have to chase to get anything...even worse after install. Customer service is appalling. Poor workmanship...cheap and nasty

I would like to give a huge thank you to all the team at Warma UK who pulled out all the stops to help a very vulnerable elderly friend. He was entitled to a grant for his central heating and insulation at his home which was very cold and damp. Everyone worked so hard to make sure his heating was up and working before Xmas. They worked late on Christmas Eve which was so kind as they all needed to get home I am sure. There were many problems initially but everything was sorted professionally and expertly. A big thank you to Kurt who I have spoken to a few times and indeed everyone involved.

Mitch, Matthew and team kept us informed throughout the heat pump install, very professional, clean and the system works brilliantly. The insulation team were exceptional, we made sure all external walls on the property interior were cleared, this ensured we could have it all done to its optimum, as with an older stone property, the better the insulation the better the system works, which it does very well. The solar team were quick and professional even replacing a couple of broken slates. Would recommend 100% many thanks indeed.

I wanted to save my Mum money so got her an ECO4 grant which was installed in Dec 24. What we ended up with are storage heaters that for various reasons did not work , not helped by the installer not turning the night storage back on in the garage. The oid kitchen storage heater in the kitchen was replaced by panel heater. While the storage heaters were not working the panel heaters were used , so not using cheap night rate. Mums electric bills soared. And no recompense.
A storage heater in the kitchen was eventually returned replacing the expensive to run panel heater put in its stead. It was very noticeable that the bills went down
Warma uk blamed the door off the kitchen to the conservatory being left open for the cat. This happened before the instal so why were the bills larger after instal..same slightly open door.
We have solar panels now which do take alot off the bill, but nevertheless Mum needs to pay more now than before the instal to warm her home to what she is used to. She is on a fixed tariff from last October so no change of tariff raising the bill.
We went through HIES to mediate…they did not uphold the complaint….but they are funded by the installers.
We engaged a retrofit assessor…he was very clear the two night storage heaters were woefully inadequate, heat being topped up with day rate panel heaters thankfully we kept one of the old storage heaters in the bathroom (they were going to remove it).
We consulted with Trustmark and realised we should have gone through the British Assessment Bureau, not HIES…this we are now doing…they are linked in with whether Warma Uk have a trust mark.
UPDATE
With the help of a retrofit assessor, Elnur who manufactures the storage heater and the British Assessment Bureau it is now clear the instal advised by Warma UK was insufficient for Mums bungalow...so this is now to be righted....what a long drawn out challenge. It seems Warma UK did not factor in the open staircase from the attic into the lounge so the lounge storage heater put in was of insufficient power, and they should never have replaced the kitchen storage heaters with an electric panel heater. Now I wonder what can happen about the excessive heating bill accrued because of this error?
I would avoid at every cost their service is shocking. The departments don't comminucate across departments and they dont respond when they say they will. We had a heat pump and insulation fitted back at the start of June . They have left us with a hole in our living room ceiling, they commissioned our battery that we paid for, they haven't finished the IWI, they couldnt fit all the solar panels we paid for and then took over 3 weeks to refund us the money for these. We chased about 10 times and we were told a refund should be on the wayband it wasnt. Despite all these issues ans several promises to come back out to finish the job, they have still not come and it's nearly september! I would absolutely avoid!!

It is almost two years since Warma UK upgraded my cold riverside house into a cosy home and I have literally saved thousands of pounds energy-wise. Today at 6.00pm I discovered I had no hot water - but I did have the phone number of the electrician (Ben) employed by Warma. He answered my call - showed me what to via FaceTime (just pressing the right buttons on the tank) - and within minutes - it was all sorted. What a fantastic amazing service! Without Ben what would I have done? Called an emergency out-of-hours electrician? managed without hot water? Neither palatable - thank goodness for Ben and Warma UK. Every home should have them!!!!

I responded to a flyer through my door about reduced energy bills. Initially the service was fantastic, the team were really helpful in confirming the grant available and organising installation. However, I have subsequently been repeatedly let down by the installation team. In fairness, following a family bereavement I had to cancel one appointment, but on their first visit they said they didn't have the correct equipment to install, I've had two subsequent re-bookings and no shows - I've had to change my work commitments to be home for these - I've had one installation appointment where they put in cavity wall insulation in 3/4 of my house and said they'd return to complete (as they didn't have the correct equipment again!) and now I can't get hold of anyone. I should have probably been more aware that the installation process would result in mess but it would have been nice to have been forewarned. My rendered white house now has multiple clay coloured spots all around it, which I can't put right as the installation hasn't been completed. I've no paperwork to show for any of the installation so far, so I'm left feeling extremely uneasy. I have emailed the company multiple times to escalate and complain and without satisfactory resolution so am now looking into next steps. Take great care when using Warma.
We are really pleased we chose Warma - we’ve had great communication from the start. It took a while for our grant application to be signed off (which wasn’t due to Warma) but once we got the go ahead, Warma turned the whole project around in about 1 week. Everyone involved has been excellent and the guys doing the installation were fantastic - they worked flat out, barely took a breather and left everything impeccably neat and tidy (and did a great job too!) I work from home and had minimal disruption - yes things were noisy and dusty for a couple of days but you have to expect that when having any kind of building work going on! We paid a contribution to also replace our radiators throughout the property at the same time and whilst this wasn’t a cost we initially factored in, we are so pleased we did and it was worth every penny and actually feels like a complete bargain to us! We cannot recommend everyone involved more.
