do not use this company, i recently had a bill of these unfortunately i had fraud going on in my personal account so i was unable to get money out of my bank account. i contacted them via phone and was transferred to the receptionist, all i can say is wow i have never been spoken to so badly in my life. i was told the lady i had to speak to had left for the day the receptionist then turned round to me and said well you better call back tomorrow or you will be getting a ccj, i was so shocked i then asked for the lady's name and she hung up on me. i then called back to speak to a manager and was told i would get a call back the next morning at 9:30. just had a call from credit control no manager and she wudn't let me speak at all all she did was go on and on. they have not even listened to what the woman said to me sorry but a professional solicitors should not go on like that! there attitude is appalling. solicitors are supposed to be professional this company is by far the worst i have ever dealt with. i am going to contact trading standards and the newspapers this morning about them i would advise every1 to use another firm not this terrible company.

This was a good transaction through Watson Woodhouse at Middlesbrough. It was conducted in a timely fashion and we were particularly impressed by the use of a completion person as a point of contact at the end of the process. Sophie Fletcher and her supervisor Richard Rutter were in charge of the sale of my property 77,Wellesley Drive, NE24 3UZ and purchase of 70, Dryburn Road, TS19 88JL. Communication and progress of the sale was poor, slow and at times non-existent. Property sale agreed in principle with the estate agents late December 2020 and accepted by Sophie Fletcher with a confirmation letter dated 12th January 2021. Unfortunately 3 attempts to exchange and complete were missed due to enquires from the buyers solicitor not being responded to or the delay accepted by said above parties. This cost me 3 days of pay, as in education it is at the heads discretion to grant the time off in term time with or without pay. Each time I had the moving day booked out only to have it cancelled on the day......I actually exchanged and completed May 7th as the exchange didn't occur on May 6th as quoted. Exchange and completing on the same day meant that the funds to buy the property were not cleared into the bank of the seller that day. He was within his rights not to give me the key and I would of been left at 5pm on a Friday evening with no where for the removal van to be unloaded nor any property for me to sleep in that night. Fortunately the seller met me at the property and was prepared to hand over the key so I could move in and my furniture etc unloaded into the house. His funds cleared on Monday 10th so all turned out well.......but not without a great deal of stress and upset put upon myself due to lack of clarity and support from Sophie Fletcher on the moving day. The whole experience has totally put me off using or recommending Watson Woodhouse Solicitors again. Inspire of over a 20 year history of myself and my husband Andrew Clarke using Mr Gardner for 6 plus house moves. Plus the Clarke family using the firm for their needs and recommendations to me. Very disappointed in the service received from both Sophie Fletcher and Mr R Rutter who was very condescending and failed to ensure prompt completion. Faithfully Sue Clarke XXMBEXX

Watson Woodhouse solicitors, wow what can I say other then absolutely amazing, specially Victoria molloy, she went of her way to help always contactable , also brilliant in court that good she got my conviction overturned even though I thought I was doomed! Even helped me get me my door licence back !! Would highly recommend but yet agen thank you for the help and support to everyone else at Watson woodhouse solicitors and specially Victoria!! Really greatful for everything and more!

I have had the most awful experience with this company. I have been ignored from the very start of appointing them, they were recommended by my estate agent, which I trusted, however I am appalled by the service I have had from Watson Woodhouse. I have begged more than once for someone to come back to me only to be ignored. My exchanged date has been missed with zero correspondence from them, I’m now getting updates directly from my estate agent instead. I will never ever use this awful company again. I hate writing bad reviews and use trust pilot regularly to praise companies, but this one needs to be highlighted, I feel sorry for anyone using these guys going forward. They have made my move twice as stressful with being treated like an idiot.

Avoid Watson Woodhouse I just called to get an update and I got shouted at other called back to ask to speak with a supervisor or manager bit no help all you do is speck to a cocky receptionist that don't help to even though you have given I d they will still ask you for I d months later this firm needs investigation.

I recently used Watson & Woodhouse the Stockton branch to move house and buy another property. I couldn’t recommend them more!! Katie, Lorna, Jackie and the rest of the team went above and beyond to help me get my house sale through before the stamp duty holiday ended. I couldn’t be more grateful! Thanks again ladies ☺️

Excellent service provided from Watson Woodhouse Stockton-On-Tees.
Due to COVID-19 everything was conducted through email and phone calls all of which were very professional.
All staff involved in the conveyancing team; Janet, Helen, Katie (apologise if I have missed anyone) made the process easy and straight forward. Could not fault their efforts.

Rubbish, refused to give mitigation for me, prosecution made an argument look like I started it, Emma Williams just stood agreeing with them while we were had look evidence that would of proved my innocent, she would get a thief charged with murder
