Not safe

Dashcam is mounted in middle of windscreen below rearview mirror in crossover vehicle 4.17meters long, heavily impeding view. AI is not up to 2026 standards, where I as a driver am constantly harrased with audio warnings, because im "distracted" when the AI does not recognize im in a large bend and keeping my eyes on the road means not looking straight ahead to front vehicle. Amateur hour.
Webfleet is a product that get's sold from one manager to another manager, that both have no experience in the field I imagine and want to tick the compliance box.

edit in response to.. : So you guys are aware of the distraction detected warning when the vehicle is in a large bend, where the driver has to look from side window, but you are still selling the product? Aren't you datamining and cross referencing given audio warnings against gps/ breadcrumb data? Do you not testdrive your own system? You need your customer to do your work for you? The only real distraction detected is when I try to do my job and your dash is distracting me from doing it safely. There you go.

Installation guidance is provided and the camera should not obstruct the driver’s view. As placement can vary by vehicle type, we recommend that your fleet or IT manager reviews the installation so it can be adjusted if needed.

We continuously refine our distraction detection to improve accuracy across different driving conditions. Alert behaviour can be adjusted, including disabling the in-cabin audio alert, by your fleet or IT manager if preferred. Feedback like yours helps us fine-tune the balance between sensitivity and alert frequency.

worst company ihave ever had the…

worst company ihave ever had the misfortune to come across in 40years in fleet. All good until we wanted to terminate trackers as login and system kept failing .never respoded to emails just demaded money to terminate contract that isnt worth paper its written on if your a customer. Avoid at all costs

Everything was fine until we needed…

Everything was fine until we needed support. They are unwilling or unable to provide support on any of their products or services. I have been a customer for years, and after upgrading to the latest version, there has been nothing but issues, and support does not care.
