Unlike other dealers, we are fully committed to honesty, integrity, and transparency. The diagnostic tool we use is no mystery. It's a standard OBDII reader which you can buy at any auto parts store. This tool reads diagnostic information from the vehicle's computer which highlights any fault conditions with the vehicle's engine or drivetrain. Not all faults cause the check engine light to illuminate but in this case, there were two faults reported by the vehicle's diagnostic computer:

P0440 Evaporative Emission Control System
P0446 Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Control

We are happy to provide you with a copy of the BlueDriver report showing the fault codes. This is a third-party tool used by hundreds of thousands of automotive professionals and our team has no way to change the result.

I'm pleased that despite the extra damage and diagnostic codes, we were able to make an offer you were happy to accept.
