Our online valuation is an estimate built on the information provided by the customer, and when you completed yours, you described the vehicle as having no physical or mechanical issues. Our offer reflects the verified condition of the vehicle after a professional, in-person appraisal.
Your vehicle's Experian AutoCheck history discloses that it was originally built for the Canadian market and later imported into the United States, which we were unaware of from your online valuation and makes the truck much less desirable for resale in the US market.
Our OBD-II diagnostic scan revealed 8 active fault codes:
P0234: Engine Turbocharger/Supercharger Overboost Condition
P0236: Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance
P0299: Turbocharger/Supercharger "A" Underboost Condition
P0430: Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 2)
P0625: Generator Field/F Terminal Circuit Low
B0061: Passenger Seatbelt Tension Sensor
B00A0: Occupant Classification System
U0422: Invalid Data Received From Body Control Module
Our professional appraisal identified 8 physical and mechanical issues that were not reflected in the online estimate, including:
- Illuminated check engine and ABS warning lights
- A missing radio head unit
- A damaged driver's seat
- Dents in the driver side front door and both rear quarter panels
- Rust on the tailgate
Any buyer would be cautious about a vehicle built for another country with different standards, presenting with multiple warning lights and fault codes, missing parts and damage beyond normal wear and tear, and those findings are the reason the offer landed where it did.
