Bought a car from these less than 2 month ago and was told it had just been serviced and was going through an mot however I had a free service at Volkswagen as it was still under a service plan when the car was there the done a health check of the car to which they found it to 2 tyres nearly in the limit with one of them having a huge bulge in and the brake fuild had never been changed this cost me just under £500 so rang webuycarsformore where I purchased the car to ask if the could compensate some of the money I just had to spend less then a month of owning the car as it had obviously been like this a while and the mot they had done supposedly picked nothing up I would avoid this place as after they have sold you the car there couldn’t care less about you and obviously the mot’s aren’t the best!!!!

bought a £20,000 + car off them over the phone. Was delivered with faults on the dash board. After them telling me to get quotes to fix which i did, they will not refund or take the car back or fix the problem.

Sold my car recently through this company which came with excellent customer service. Car was sold within 30 minutes after valuing my car. Value was also the best I could get (compared to Webuyanycar and other garages)

Was dubious about buying a car from We buy Cars for More due to some unpositive reviews. We have had a great experience from beginning to end. Tom and Chris showed us the car and let us test drive it straight away. Really friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great price paid. Car had a few scuffs and was like new when they delivered it to Lancashire. Highly recommend them for sure!

So I bought a vehicle for nearly £20,000 and it was a lovely car for the first three months, THEN, It needed new brakes, THEN front diff needed replacing, THEN the windscreen was leaking, THEN it broke down on the A!, leaving me stranded. These repairs cost over £3000. When I reposted it on the their website I was quoted just under £8000. I used my nursing pension to buy this car as I wanted a car that suited my needs. Please when you go to look at a vehicle, TAKE A CAR MECHANIC, these are bunch of Arthur Daleys.

Went to the Ashington branch where we found the proprietor to be very polite and helpful. Obtained a reasonable price for the car that we sold.

Went and looked at the vehicle with a view to purchasing , was assured of it having a full service history with printout but could only be accessed using vin number and logbook using Lexus online
I left a deposit and collected the car 2nd January to find “printout” was a hand written list of when the car was tested , online history was partial and incomplete , contacted several times and assured I could get it from the local dealer but that too was a load of rubbish as dealer franchise changed hands and current franchisee has no access to past records , so another waste of my time and effort , total waste of space , now being ignored

Company should be called “we quote more for your car”
They quoted the highest price but then offered the lowest, £2200 less than the online quote for a car that had nothing wrong with it!! Then a whole list of reasons like “we have to make our bit when we sell it etc”

Don’t waste your time or get sucked in by the inflated quote.

A little while ago I was lucky enough to order my first brand new car. As with many people I took my old car ( well 3 year old ) in to trade it in against my new purchase only to be underwhelmed with the offer. I then thought why not try some of these instant car purchase web sites. On doing this most offers weren’t that different to the dealers offer however Webuycarsformore.com offered £2,500 more than others, but instead of thinking “if sometime looks too good to be true it’s probably a con or there’s a catch” I made an appointment and then gleefully got my car a valet ready for inspection, comfortable knowing it was in excellent condition. On getting to the site in Scotswood I went into the cabin sat down with a not very happy salesman. He took the car details ( but didn’t even look at my car !!) then said “right what do you want for it ?” I said what you’ve quoted please. His response was “no chance, we can’t offer you anything like that! that was just a guide price”. I thought about arguing how is it even a guide price if you have no intention of paying it, it’s actually just an inflated price to get you on the hook! However I didn’t bother and just left. So I have wrote this review as I hate having my time wasted and thought I would help others not do the same. Mind maybe I was unlucky and picked a time when the salesman was having a bad day !
