really disappointed with the Halloween event that we attended 26th October 2026 was expecting a bit more then a few popup items around the rose garden not even scary and train ride twice around the rose garden, then off for a pumpkin for the kids and if an adult want one it was €4 and when you have to pay for the event adult tickets and kids tickets and also still pay the entry fee this was a a big disappointed

It’s a total rip off. Entry fee is way too high, the food is so expensive and extremely poor quality. The place is becoming run down too.

My family and I visited the Christmas experience yesterday at 1pm. I had to write this review to express how disappointed we were. Right from the beginning the place had absolutely no atmosphere. As we had not booked tickets we went to the ticket office which we were locked out of for 20 minutes, while the staff sat inside with the doors locked.

When we were finally let in our party of 3 adults and 4 children were shocked by the price of €217. This is the most overpriced rip off Christmas event we have ever attended. As the kids had waited in the cold and were very excited we could not disappoint them further by not going due to the price.

Right from the beginning the set up was simplistic and very tacky. The train ride was a complete disgrace with a couple of cheap lights and bad wooden broken cut outs of Christmas characters. A couple of timber deer badly decorated really topped off things. The lack of effort to even cover the generators in the forest sealed things for us.

The so called Christmas elfs " A bunch of teenagers who looked like they had no interest in being there" completed the disastrous experience by spelling our kids names wrong on the Christmas baubles even though my kids all had name tags on. I don't know if this was done as some sort of mindless joke. So the baubles were pointless and binned.

There was no adults controlling the tour just some kids messing and joking around which ruined the so called Christmas experience. After meeting with Santa Claus were we could not take any pictures for ourselves as you had some photographer taking pictures for a ridiculous price of €45 for the cheapest option.

The kids presents were more cheap tack and to finish with the most watery Hot Chocolate which no one drank as it was disgusting and binned also. So all in all we all left feeling ripped off, the kids upset and everyone annoyed with the whole experience.
