DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE! BEWARE! Complete rip off- horrific quality- horrible return policy (they make you ship returns to China) while they advertise that they are Charleston S.C. company.
The set I purchased was straight crap polyester with the tags ripped out of the clothing where it was frayed! The quality is worse than the worst Amazon order you could imagine. Never again- and shame on them for false adverstising!

Complete scam. Clothing was nothing like the pictures and took weeks to come from china not Charleston. AI created company and marketing. Do not buy from them.

I ordered the Evangelist Jacket from Wentworth & Rowe, and what I received was absolutely terrible! The material was incredibly cheap and already falling apart. The buttons even had **“JEANS WEAR”** stamped on them!

It took over a month to receive my order, and I discovered that the jacket was actually shipped from China!

To make matters even more concerning, the company claims to be located in South Carolina, but I could not verify that there is a legitimate Wentworth & Rowe storefront at that location.

The product was nothing like the quality I expected based on the advertising. I feel completely misled and would never order from this company again.

I wish there were and options for zero stars. First, this company advertised that they were a small storefront business in Charleston that was moving to e-commerce. That was a lie. This was never a store in Charleston SC. Second, this is a company based in China so you have to wait more than 20 days to get your order. And third, the clothes are made with the cheapest material and are nothing like what you see in the online pictures. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

This business is a scam and their online story about their shop in Charleston is not true.

Both of these shops - and I assume they have more - operate on Shopify.com. So Shopify.com is at least partially culpable in hosting these bad-faith stores.

You will get goods, but they will not look like what was on the website, and the goods will be very low-quality. My wife ordered a jacket, and when held up to a window we could see through it.

This company is deceptive and uses deceptive marketing tactics. They promote themselves as a mother/daughter American family who sells fine quality American craftsmanship. What I received was a barely stitched, thin fabric with buttons that were from a pair of jeans from China. Horribly made. I filed an official complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and Better Business Bureau. Their scam tactics are deceitful and quality is worse than TEMU.

Definitely a bait and switch. Shipment is coming from China based on shipment routing and paperwork. Posing as a N Carolina family shop.

My order took weeks to come in. Website said it was a Charleston brand. Turns out shipment was coming from china. When it finally got delivered it was 100 percent polyester and looked absolutely nothing like the picture. Shame on instagram was allowing advertisements for this brand. It’s definitely a scam

I ordered a maxi dress and shorts set. Neither showed up looking like the picture. The shorts set looked to be a nice linen material, and upon seeing it on arrival its a cheap polyester. The dress looked more silky on the website and is the same polyester material. The sizes are also not correct at all. I ordered based on my measurements and the garments showed up twice the size they should be. Its poor quality all around and in order to return items you pay for shipping to send the items back overseas. I'm eating the cost because I don't want the hassle, but it's disappointing since I was looking for cute vacation wear. I'd be better off finding something on Amazon.

This is a total scam. It is not in Charleston SC it is in China. I ordered a Jacket and it was more of a flannel shirt with poor stitching. They do not allow for returns like the website suggests. They offered a 10% money back. Totally frustrating.

I regret not having read the reviews of this company prior to ordering 2 dresses. Customer reviews are spot on!
I also found the advertising to be deceptive. They advertise that they are a Charleston SC company but they actually ship from China. Took a few weeks for items to arrive.
The photos of the products on the website are inaccurate. The photo of a caftan I ordered showed the model clearly wearing a long necklace as an accessory. Upon receipt of the item, the "necklace" is in the design of the dress. Very cheap looking as is the material itself. Dresses are not flattering at all.
The return process is also disappointing. They initially offered me a 10% discount to keep the items. When I pushed back, they offered me a 20% discount. The alternative was to return the items to Guangdong China at my own expense.
Save yourself the aggravation and do not purchase from this company.

I ordered a dress which, although I ordered my normal size, was way too large. Also, on the website, the dress looked crisp and classy, but in reality, the material is flimsy and low quality.
When I wrote to process a return, they gave me two options--take 10% of the original cost or, if available would send me a smaller size.
This is unbelievable. DO NOT PURCHASE from this company.

Definitely a bait and switch! The product was received about a month after the order was placed, and it did not match the description on the site. Instead of a “heavy” tweed, the fabric is a polyester/cotton blend lightweight fabric, unlined. The velvet accent is clearly a cheap polyester and the color is more gold than brown. The military style buttons actually say “Jeans Wear” and the plastic tags inside say Made in China. I would equate the quality to that of a Halloween costume. You have to read the fine print to see that the 30-day “guarantee” involves the customer paying for return shipping to the warehouse in China.

If zero stars was an option I woudl select it.

I ordered two items. Neither arrived looking like the pictures. The top was passable but the short outfit was awful. The material in the picture looks like a cotton blend/linen look. It arrived 95 percent polyester and the fit was atrocious. I asked the next day after delivery to use the “easy returns” advertised on the website. I was offered 10 percent back of a $59.95 plus tax item. I pushed back then was offered a 15 percent money back or the option to return the garment to china and deal with them. Neither option is reasonable. I will never order from this website. It’s like a Temu experience. I will also let others know how deceptive the website is.

I was under the impression that this line of clothing came from Charleston, SC. The quality of the clothes is very poor. It is made in and shipped from China. The fabrics that were delivered looked nothing like what was in the online catalogue. The price of such sub par clothing did not justify the price. The amount of time to receive the items was weeks. I read other online reviews post my order and had I done that, I would NEVER have ordered from Wentworth and Rowe. The clothes are not quality, poor fit and I gave them to Goodwill rather than try the lengthy process to get a refund. Again, the online reviews for refunds were also dismal noting that refunds and returns were very difficult. I will insure that this review is on all social media outlets so others will not be fooled by the website.
