Unfair site block with zero response
Whalebone randomly blocked access to our website without any explanation. We’ve reached out multiple times to get it whitelisted, but haven’t received a single reply. We ran our site through multiple security scanners like Sucuri and VirusTotal, all came back clean. Still, no support or resolution from their side.
/Update:
After numerous attempts we were finally able to get in contact with someone and whitelist our site.

I am very sorry that we caused you problems. We are constantly working on improving the reporting of false positive domains, but in this case we clearly made a mistake somewhere.
Could I ask you for more information?
How did you report the false positive?
Which domain was it?

Operating Whalebone DNS is easy, it is a stable solution.
It does its job with minimal maintenance efforts or downtime, also upgrades are hitless.

Kolikrát je težkě se vyjádřit česky
Kolikrát je težkě se vyjádřit česky, natož najít vhodná slova v angličtině. Provedu tedy první českou "review" a to lokálního DNS resolveru Whalebone.
S tímto projektem / produktem máme jako ISP již delší dobu výbornou zkušenost - "nevíme o něm". Vysvětlím.
To je totiž ta nejlepší vlastnost výborného DNS resolveru. Standardně je již nastaven absolutně bez potřeby do něj cokoliv ručně vepisovat. Postačí pro přehlednost vložit jen adresní rozsahy....
Provoz na síti ihned po nasazení v jednotkách procent klesl a nežádoucí provoz byl DNS resolverem odfitrován. Hned jsme následně z friendly-user rozhraní zjistili kdo kdy kam a vznikly nám tak i další obchodní přležitosti jak pomoci svým zákazníkům (prodej antivirů, odstranění malware...)

Je pro mě o to cennější, protože http://www.apsobol.com/ nás zná od úplných začátků 2016/2017 a po prvních porodních bolestech při testování první MVP verze Whalebone jste na nás nezanevřeli a dali jste nám šanci ukázat, že Whalebone za to stojí.

A must-have service for ISP's
Have 2+ years good experience with Whalebone DNS deployed as local resolvers. It is a 100% stable and fast DNS resolver solution for ISP/WISP with powerful filtering features. It is managed via web GUI running on Whalebone cloud servers. It enables us to protect our customers from malware/botnet domains on DNS level which is absolutely easy to deploy with almost no cost. The development and introduction of new features is continuous and their support is very helpful.

IMHO the best DNS solution
IMHO the best DNS solution. Perfect services, simply implementation and usage, best support. We have Whalebone DNS server "on air" for ~2,5 years and without problems.

Fast DNS resolver with added value
Excellent security option for ISPs. Every week we reveal at least two clients who have infected computer without knowing it. Minimum price and time spent activating the service. Just go on.
