Whitaker Stone Ltd has a dedicated and friendly team of staff trained to deal and manage all your stone requirements. Our experienced stone mason's focus on quality of finished product and have great pride in their work. Using local gritstone and sandstone we produce bespoke cills, heads, lintels, steps, mullions and jambs. From historic building restoration, barn conversions, period extensions through to individual fireplaces, we approach every project as a unique opportunity to excel. We also design, mason and fit bespoke stone fireplaces and hearths undertaking designs on AutoCAD. We supply stone walling, punched walling, tumbled and darkened walling and pitched sandstone / gritstone walling. We stock a full range of reclaimed yorkshire flags and Indian paving both in natural stone and fired porcelain. We have been making and fitting memorials, headstones and tablets in Calderdale for fifty years. We are based in Hebden Bridge and cover Halifax, Huddersfield, Rochdale, Burnley, Keighley and Harrogate, in Yorkshire and Lancashire, or further afield.

Richard was very kind and empathetic when discussing my later husbands headstone. He carved a perfect Celtic love knot on the stone and sited it well at the graveyard. I recommend the stone yard wholeheartedly.

He managed to take my vision and transform it beautifully into the fine pieces of stone for my property which match perfectly.
They were packaged and wrapped carefully , as if he was cradling his own child , and delivered on time as promised .
