It was not clear at all that the $4.99 for a month was for 20 searches. Hit 20 in a day (of course) and was offered 80 more for $22 more. I was looking for old classmates for a high school reunion. Unfortunately, had used up first 20 searches verifying what I'd found on other free sites. Save your money and go with the free sites. WHITEPAGES should make it very clear that it is limiting to 20 searches in a month. SHADY!

Can I access my account says I don't have an email associated with this account but it's the only email I ever signed up with. How stupid are they that they can't even run their own site correctly and if they are the ripping people off. White pages is associated with beenverified, truthfinder, peoplefinder, peoplesearch, intelius, checkmate, etc.....all affiliated together. And they are billed to the same place. Called my credit card company to ask why I had so many charges for the same place. Their action was to tell me that obviously I wouldn't pay over and over for the same thing with the same prices would you. I told them hell no I wouldn't. And they subsequently took off all the charges and reissued me a car but the White pages even though it's outdated information I still need some information off of it for a thief executor stealing from my children and wife after my wife's father passed and I still need it when I go to sign up for premium it says I already have premium but yet I can't ask this premium it says I don't have an email associated with the premium section how is it possible that it tells me on one side that I have an account already on the premium but then go to sign in and it says no email associated with that email something is awfully fishy or should I say " PHISHY!". I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED THIS YEAR BUT COUPLE YEARS AGO WHEN I WAS USING THEM THEY HAD THE BETTER INFORMATION LIKE INTELIUS DID BUT IT DIDN'T HAVE MUCH OVER THE TOP INFORMATION ABOVE THE OTHER SITES SO HOW WOULD YOU PROPOSE ACCESSING AN ACCOUNT I ALREADY HAVE YET I AM TOLD I DON'T HAVE ONE WITH THIS EMAIL!!!!

liars and cheats. not connected with Telstra anymore. Some American company. But still bill through Telstra. Trying to cancel and they say you can't because it has already been set for the year. Say that you are contracted to them but we signed up with Telstra not this new company. How is that legal? They don't even check in with people to make sure details are correct and current. They have been using outdated information for ages. Completely untrustworthy. And in this day and age who still uses white pages? Absolute waste of space.

WhitePages.com is a Criminal Operation that needs to be shutdown ASAP! This Bogus 'entity' is nothing more than group of Master-Scammers who will Fleece unsuspecting individuals over and over Again!

Even after receiving reimbursement following a successful cancellation via email *(It took FOREVER!), they'll continue billing that account, or even some-how, others, for which I have NO CLUE as to how they obtained the needed information in order to gain access.

Ultimately, the only remedy available, in order to avoid these ongoing BOGUS charges, is to close that, and every affiliated account that they may have gained access to, and have new cards issued! So far now, this has happened with a total of 3 of my accounts!!!

Won’t remove personal information. Says to contact customer support, but they never respond. Been trying for months and they never respond. Have privacy issues and want it deleted. They never respond. Bad company.

For the $10.79 I got the basic information that I could have found for free online had I wanted to spend the time doing so. My problem is that I do not trust them after the purchase. First, I looked in my email and found that they had turned on a feature that I had intentionally turned off from my account page, and secondly there is no easy way to delete your account. I am extremely happy that I used PayPal to pay for the transaction rather than a bank debit card. I would appreciate it if Whitepages provided instructions on deleting an account.

Basic, $30/year, nothing more than you can get for free on web in a few minutes

As I have paid for it, I have used it for quick lookup of current addresses I would not otherwise have researched, and reverse phone lookup. For this convenience it is probably worth the $30. I had hoped for more, but obviously the market determines the price. I don't think I would pay for a report today which did not contain at lease some Social Networking App research.

This is a dishonest site. You get sucked into paying for a Premium Membership, then if you want to see any frigging details it's another $20 per hit.

Was great, bought a year and they're scamming now or purposely messed the app searches up. You CAN SEE the fetched results for a second until it says NO RESULTS unless u BUY A BACKGROUND report but Im paying for premium! Im irate tbh

I can't attach some screenshots I took for you guys to look at what they are doing, saying first to check the data of any number, and when you fetch it, they show even nothing and ask for premier package... WOW loooters, first at least let the people know what you're going to show before paying you, give them at least a hint of name or some clue. Poor team and poor service, Not recommended, don't waste your time, laptop battery, your energy, and clicks in this fake puzzle.

This is how you remove it...

Locate everything whitepages has listed for you (correct/incorrect) - use truepeoplesearch as a reference of what to search. Be sure to print your truepeoplesearch report before requesting removal!

Locate listing (not premium) and click “get details” - note aka’s/address(es)/phone number(s) listed. You will need to search these when removal is complete. I also make note of relatives/associates listed (copy/save their URL’s for future reference).

Copy listing URL, scroll to bottom of webpage - select help, select “how do I edit remove personal listing” OR “business listing”, select opt out site, paste URL, next, remove, answer question (incorrect info). In the leave a comment section - I copy paste the info I am requesting to remove - this info is printed in their reply message and I use it as reference of what I requested removal of.

When removal is complete - verify that your premium listing has been removed, wait a month to see if any aka’s appeared, search phone/address and request removal of these items.

Just keep requesting removal until ALL your info has been removed! Time consuming but worth it!

Don't know why or how they listed me and got confused with my sister and yet mixed up our locations and now we have people calling and texting us about real estate. What the hell? Tried to remove our names became a problem because of automated systems, etc. Not ideal to have random people texting you. Not cool!

Issues: 1. Poor customer service. 2. I doubt the info is complete. I suspected this guy had a history, but I'd rather not trust 9+year-old info, nothing more recent. Maybe he went from trouble to perfect after a 10+year history of fi annual and legal trouble... But I doubt the completeness because he had about 10 addresses in 5 years, many problems--- and then he's supposedly stayed at one address since 2010 and had zero problems since 2011. I'd like to help this guy out but can't trust without knowing if they searched or had access to recent records. White pages keeps your credit card info stored and you can't have an account without a card on file. I've never had a subscription, just a free trial and then I opted out. Then I went back to purchase a background check, and found I'm logged in to an account, I didn't even realize I had, with my card on file. Their policy is to keep your card and account info stored INDEFINITELY. You can't opt out by purchasing as a guest, and later YOU CAN'T REMOVE THE CARD, EVEN if you DONT HAVE A SUBSCRIPTION OR OWE THEM ANYTHING. The MOST irritating thing is, YOU CANT DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT EITHER. You can inactivated the account, but your info is stored, and then if you ever want to use their service again, you van't use the same email address, without having them out in a request to their technical team. It's all ridiculous, but why should I be surprised? Their whole business is about storing personal info. It's legal. But you should be able to opt out. Reviews say they aren't the most complete or accurate service. I deactivated my account, and will go elsewhere in the future. But who knows if these companies are all the same? BTW, to get their contact info,I had to a third party site that specializes in helping people delete accounts. The site's "Contact Us" link is only a page of FAQ with no contact available. I guess they don't want to hear from people who don't like their inaccurate (or bad-accurate) personal info that is made readily available for purchase on their site. So it is what it is...

I wantedw to use this website for one time use and it said I can pay $ 1 for a free trial. I decided against better judgement to give it a try. It was not much helpful in me finding if the number that someone has been calling me from is valid. What made the situation worse however is finding out that my card information and the account will forever be on white pages. I will not be using this account again why are you forcing people to keep an account on your site? Even if you disable it, no one wants their credit card information just sitting on an account you are not going to use again. If you are a good hacker you caN easily get that information because its just sitting there. This site is not safe to use in my opinion. Disabling will do nothing if you can reactivate and still come back to all your STORED personal information.

Most every website on the Internet nowadays, which provides you normally free information, always has a Premium option. I am so sick of Premium. Whitepages.com is no different. Money-hungry, greedy with a poorly designed site.
