Outstanding guide- served great food

Hike of a lifetime!! Expertly led by Jessica of Wildland Trekking - she was knowledgeable, professional, and very observant. Great company, great guide!

This trip offered a great overview of Olympic and Rainier National Parks. The hikes our guide took us on were outstanding. They offered beautiful vistas with challenging, but not overwhelming hikes. Our guide was competent and friendly and clearly knew the area well.

Amazing trip! The food, the guide, the scenery - all stellar. I will definitely do more trips with Wildland.

Second trip within a year as a guest with Wildland Trekking. Would not even consider another company—already looking to book my third trip. The company is top notch—especially the people. For the size of the company, the personal attention makes it feel like a family-run passion project. They work hard to get you the experience you desire, safely and responsibly. It’s such a blessing as a guest to get to experience these fantastic locations without any of the planning work or worry. Do your recommended training, use the packing list and Wildland takes care of the rest. Great value for everything you get!

I have been on two trips through Wildlands and both have been fantastic. Guides, lodging, hikes and meals were great. You literally show up and all the planning is done by them.

The difficulty level was correctly stated. The terrain was very rugged with massive slippery rocks that often were difficult to pass. The bags were very very heavy to carry in this kind of environment. The best part of the trip was our guide Anthony and how helpful he was. The worst part was the heavy bags (surpassing 50 pounds!!). The company did not inform us about the fact that we had to carry everyone else's food. Guide carried more than healthy amounts, which is not safe. The company needs to upgrade their safety regulations, and provide full information to the participants.

Hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park with Wildland trekking was totally awesome. From the preparedness and knowledge of our hiking guide every day was very memorable. Our guide was very safety conscious throughout our hike and had a good sense in knowing everyone’s strengths and weaknesses. She was able to bring our entire group together and made us feel comfortable and confident like a leader would and we developed into a family.

Our guide was fabulous! We had very hot weather and she moved hikes around so we could do everything on the agenda. The hotels were so fun… little intimate cabins. We enjoyed luscious dinners and fun coffee stops. I highly recommend this trip

Wildland has been a great resource to some wonderful life experiences for my wife and me. The knowledge the guides have in the wilderness for hiking, camping and the outdoors in general, are incomparable to others I’ve had experience with.

The entire Yosemite experience was expertly planned from pickup to drop-off each day. Our guide, Carm, was incredibly kind, knowledgeable and an excellent chef. The hikes were challenging yet fun and rewarding. The adventure was top notch and we would love to do it again!

Great response to my initial request as it was three weeks from the date. Then I received a prompt confirmation a guide was available. Cameron was our guide and he was responsive through email in our preparations. Then the day of our hike he had everything ready with all equipment and snacks and drinks. He made our hike both informative and comfortable and adapted to the needs of our group. It was a fabulous hike and a memorable experience!

Wildland Trekking is the best! This was my 6th trip with them and I can’t wait to plan my next trip. Their guides are knowledgeable, friendly, fun, professional, safety conscious, and excellent backcountry chefs!! Highly recommend!

I recently went to Alaska for a 6 day trip with Wildland Trekking Company. Had a best time.. even though it rained everyday.Our guide, Drew, did a great job with hikers at different speeds, different diets. The food was healthy and just what we needed for the day. It was a first trip, the first trip to the wildlands of Alaska, and it was perfect. It was my first trip with them! Thanks Wildland Trekking Company Team.

The details and preparation information that Wildland provided gave me the confidence that I was ready for 4 days of hiking. The knowledge and quality of our guide (Wally) which included his organizational skills, knowledge of the area, shuttling our group along with making and trekking fabulous lunches provided a safe and secure experience.
