Everything was perfect the guide and driver the hotels the meals

Our guide was engaging and knowledgeable about the area. We hiked in Sedona and Grand Canyon. Absolutely stunning! JJ made us wonderful, nourishing lunches and took us to really delicious restaurants. We would definitely look into Wildland Trekking trips I. The future.

The great people at Wildland Trekking made the trip easy from start to finish. Great guide. Backpacked the Grand Canyon Hermit Loop and it was a challenging and amazing experience.

The Smokies & Asheville trekking adventure through Wildland Trekking Company was incredible. From the pre-trek communications through the drop off after our last trek, everything added to making this such an enjoyable experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and his candor and humor enhanced every hike. We are looking forward to our next trekking adventure with Wildland.

The best of Utah hike was such a variety of scenery and parks. 6 days of very different hikes. We loved our guides Nina and Rosie.

I have taken a number of backpacking trips with Wildland Trekking including private family trips and joining regularly scheduled trips. Consistently I have experienced great guides, great backcountry locations, quality food, and good gear. My latest trip with WT was the Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne in Yosemite NP but I have also done WT trips in the Grand Canyon, Rocky Mountain NP, and Yellowstone NP. In Yosemite, the GCT is quite different than the topography elsewhere in the park so it was a nice complement to our other hiking.

This was a spectacular experience made even better by all of the help from Wildland Trekking. Our gear was in great shape. The food was fantastic and most importantly, we had a fabulous guide - Max! He was knowledgeable, fun and “made” the experience! Looking forward to our next Wildland experience!

Zeke was our guide for the South Kaibab Trail in the Grand Canyon. He did an outstanding job. He was very informative and gave great information regarding the history and geology of the Canyon. He was passionate about his job and it was very evident that he enjoyed what he does. The pace was good and we were able to go to the furthest point possible for the day. He was encouraging and humble. Zeke is someone that you could call up to go on a hike or go climbing and he would be there, no questions asked

Max was an amazing guide! He sent out detailed info and answered our questions in a timely manner. He is professional, personable, and always adhered to safety. The trip was enjoyable and we were all able to complete this challenging hike and take home amazing memories and photos of the Rim2Rim Grand Canyon. I highly recommend Wildland Trekking and will continue to book trips with this reputable, safety conscious, and adventurous company!

Our guide, Tiffany, is a pro. She successfully led our motley crew from the North Rim to the South Rim over four days. She saw to our safety and needs, preparing wonderful meals and sharing her deep understanding of the Grand Canyon.

They provided realistic training regimes to ensure success and emailed me to check in with my progress. I used an elliptical, but my quads didn't get the workout they needed for the North Kaibab descent. But my toes took the brunt. The website also has packing "suggestions" checklists but they caused me to over-pack. I definitely recommend the North Kaibab to Bright Angel route if you have the choice. Tiffany, our guide, was a beast! I'm in awe of what she had to carry! She always had a smile and pointed out things along the trail (although I couldn't hear most of it as I was in the back) and answered any questions. We loved the mesh tents that allowed good airflow and a nearly unobstructed view of the night sky. If I were to do it again, I would pack fewer packages of trail mix and more pure carbs like Chex mix. Expect to eat well! I'm sure I gained weight.

Our guide was very knowledgeable. Wildland took care of all camping equipment and meals. This was a great solution for anybody who doesn’t want to plan and organize an entire trip themselves. National Park access and specialty equipment was handled by Wildland. Very easy.

Staff was helpful rebooking a different trip due to unforeseen circumstances (no additional cost incurred).

Guide on the trip was skilled, knowledgeable, flexible and so pleasant. She made this a great first backpacking experience for my daughter.
