It was very entertaining and informative. A really enjoyable evening without spoiling the read!
I think it encourages reading when we can occasionally meet authors who can give more information depth background to their books.
Our host was an excellent entertainer as well and knows how to make an author at ease and ask just the right questions

The book arrived promptly , carefully packaged , wrapped in special paper inside sturdy cardboard packaging . Great, as it’s a book to keep !

Winstone’s Hunting Raven in Frome is a delightful bookshop. Excellent service (order a book and it’s there the next day). Lovely informed staff. Interesting book events. We’re so lucky to have this shop.

I'm sorry to say this was not a welcoming event. The information email mentioned some kind of groups to welcome and include people coming alone. I saw no sign of this.

A Perfect Parcel
My books arrived speedily and were beautifully wrapped in decorated wrapping paper, which made opening my parcel a real joy. Browsing in a bookshop is a real treat but having a parcel of books is the next best thing, and it is special to know that ordering thus, helps to keep this bookshop going.

A great place to go. The Frome branch, has a great selection of books, easy to get around, collecting my order was simple, and done so in a very friendly and pleasant manner. Will definitely be going back again. Thoroughly recommend it. Top marks.

The diary was easy to order. It arrived quickly I was kept informed about when it would arrive. The diary was prettily packed. I was pleased to order from an independent book shop rather than elsewhere
