The Paediatric First Aid course with Carolyn was brilliant. The course was super organised and full to the brim with everything I needed to know as an Early Years Practitioner. I left feeling confident in knowing the skills i had obtained can potentially save a life. Priceless knowledge.

The course (as always) was extremely thorough and Carolyn had all the answers to questions and scenarios posed to her. An enjoyable 2 day course full of extremely important information, delivered in a manner that engaged us all and what could have been a very long 2 days, flew by.

I recently attended a day-long Emergency1st Aid at Work refresher course and I was super impressed with the entire experience. The training was delivered by the Managing Director and Lead Trainer of Winterbury Training, who not only has many years of appropriate experience covering education at various levels, ambulance work and 1st Aid at levels way above the course that I was on. She has an outstanding ability to engage, entertain, involve her audience and hold their attention. She has the skill to approach what could – in other hands – be a bit of a dull subject in a manner which is humorous, entertaining, lively paced and delivered to an audience of diverse ages and experiences without in any way glossing over the serious nature of the material being covered. I completed the QN UK Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) and Emergency Paediatric First Aid. I could not have asked for a better trainer - Carolyn's knowledge was exceptional and she was clearly passionate about first aid and helping others in the community. We were all made to feel very welcome and Carolyn made sure we were all included and felt comfortable in practical scenarios.
Carolyn made the course as enjoyable and fun as possible which enabled us to learn essential skills for the workplace. I would highly recommend this company.

Carolyn really made the First Aid at Work and Outdoor First Aid course I attended relaxed, informative and fun! Carolyn is a brilliant trainer and is encouraging and so knowledgeable, training in a way that suited all of the participants and ensured we all participated and contributed to discussion and practical elements. I left feeling totally confident in my ability to put what I had learnt into practice. I'd highly recommend Winterbury Training!

Carolyn delivers training that just hits the spot. She gets the balance between being fun, thought provoking and interesting absolutely spot on. Carolyn recognises that some topics may be triggering, and deals with these sensitively and appropriately.

Carolyn is a great trainer; she really knows her stuff and she is very knowledgeable. I really like the fact that Carolyn talked about her own experience and mental health issues as it made her very relatable as well as the course being much more interpersonal. The mental health course was very informative and gave me a much bigger insight to mental health. I would definitely recommend this course!

I have attended many First Aid courses but this was by far the best. Carolyn at Winterbury is wonderful. She makes the course fun and interesting. She makes you feel very welcome and comfortable. Carolyn has a way of explaining that makes it easy to understand. Rather than just telling you what you need to know, she goes into depth of why etc. I wouldn't want to attend a course in the future with anyone else.

I cannot recommend Winterbury Training enough. In fact, I have steered many in Carolyn's direction as she has that wonderful balance of getting correct and invaluable information across in a fun and practical way. That's what you need with a First Aid Course.

Through and well delivered training that prepares you well for the assessment. Carolyn our trainer was first class and highly knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this training provider.

This course has come at the perfect time for me in helping the people in my care that are going through a very uncertain period.
From what I have learned in the two days I was immediately able to put into practice and that is invaluable.
On a personal note - I would prefer to know my actual test sore rather than just a certificate that confirms that I passed.

Warm personality of presenter broke down barriers when speaking about a potentially emotive area. Pace of training was good and it was very useful to be able to have small group discussion time on various aspects of the course.

Excellent course, packed full of information but made accessible and used a variety of learning styles and tasks. Assessment tasks were thorough but not intimidating. The course gave me confidence and Carolyn is a fun and approachable trainer which makes the course enjoyable. Thank you!

Apart from the material presented during the training day, the experience was enhanced considerably by the trainer's sense of humour and willingness to talk about her own issues, which encouraged people to talk about theirs. She also provided an extensive list of downloadable resources which will prove really useful.

Carolyn’s enthusiastic and informative style of training was very engaging. I really enjoyed the days training.
