Service addresses my needs

Except for an occasional outage, usually connected with bad weather, I have been able to access the Internet, play video, use my phone with Ooma, and stream video via Roku.

My internet was going out periodically…

My internet was going out periodically and I called your customer service who was very helpful and polite. They scheduled a service call for a tech to come out to check thing out and he got my issue corrected.

I had a local phone co provide me…

I had a local phone co provide me internet service. It was very slow and it took a long time for it to come up for use. At that time I switched to Whisper and I made a good choice. I live in he country and Whisoer seems to work very well.
I plan on keeping it Its the best bang for the buck !!!!!!!!!!!

Our internet only works part of the…

Our internet only works part of the time. When we actually have service, the quality is so bad we have to turn the movie we are streaming off. It's incredibly frustrating. We can't sit on the phone every single day with tech support to fix issues. We are tired of paying for a service we aren't able to use. Actively searching for an alternative provider.

AWESOME Service

Great service. Good pricing. Have had a few outages but company addresses issues in a timely manner. When I've had extended outages, company makes things right. I live in the country and the only other option is satellite which is really slow and a wireless data plan from a phone company that charges ridiculously amount of money for limited data. This plan is awesome and serves my needs. I stream lots of Netflix and Disney+ with no problems.

I would have preferred to have service…

I would have preferred to have service on Friday instead of Monday, but the service I did get on Monday was great. Steve was friendly and on time. He worked diligently to find why I had no internet. Without it I have no TV as well as computer and other devices. I like my Wisper!! I stream all day and night some days with no interruptions. I recommend your company whenever I can. Some people just do not have a connection in their area.

Evaluation of Wisper-internet Service

The internet speed was consistently excellent and overall reliable. However, there were a few unexpected outages and some difficulties in programming my Voip-telephone. Nothing in this world is perfect, but Wisper comes close to being the best internet provider in this area. I am definitely a satisfied Wisper subscriber and will continue the service as long as I am able to. Thank you very much for being here for us !

Works GREAT most of the time but…

Works GREAT most of the time but lightening around my local wi-fi tower causes glitches, a couple two or three times a year its down from one hour to 12 hours. Otherwise it works pretty good.

Our internet has been very slow lately

Our internet has been very slow lately. Streaming is interrupted and freezes or disconnects completely. In the beginning it was great. We pay for 10x2 speed rarely get that speed. The last speed check was dismal at less than 1 mbps upload and download. Not good.

I don't love it but I don't hate it.

We've been customers for many years. The service was very reliable and customer service was excellent. We rarely had to contact tech support but when we did they were almost always able to correct the issue. Then we got switched to a new server or something (I don't remember what it's called) and it has not gone well. Much slower, lots of lagging, and it is frequently out altogether. Messages left for tech support go unreturned. Still better than the competition but juat not as good as it was.

We cannot get enough signal and our…

We cannot get enough signal and our service is spotty because of our location. We lived in the same house 12 years ago and used Wild Blue/Via Sat and had much better service. We would love to have a tower in our area. Please consider rural areas in Montgomery/Bond County area

VERY FRUSTRATING

When we first got Wisper the speed and connectivity was good (for our area), as time goes on both have been getting worse. There will be times where our speed's get below 1MB for upload and download. We typically use it for TV streaming services as there is no way it is reliable enough for me to use for work. I was told they plan to upgrade our system which will in turn increase our speed and and reliability, however they do not know when that will be (if ever for our area). It is almost to the point now that i may cancel my internet services therefore i know i don;t have internet access instead of getting false hopes of it only working sometimes!

Wisper has been absolutely amazing! I wish they would expand their services in Lebanon Mo. It seems like every time I refer someone, it isn't in their area. I would love for everyone to see how amazing they are!

I was disappointed with the tech…

I was disappointed with the tech support after I read their website. I had been working with Wisper to increase my speed. It was a several step process, which is understandable. The technician would tell me the office would be changing frequencies, making tweaks and would notify everyone impacted. That did not happen. When I called back to report, the tech support person said I would have to create another ticket (my third) to get the changes. During that call, after some additional discussion, I was told the tweak was made. It made no difference to my performance. Two weeks later, I received a call from a tier-2 rep who wanted to schedule an appointment to get my frequencies changed. Not good internal communication. Bottom line, Wisper cannot delivery the speeds advertised so I will be moving to another provider.
