Wonderlawn - Artificial Grass Installation Opiniones 

My experience was with the team managed by Dean Fuller. The back lawn was installed incorrectly as the grass was cut too short in error so it did not reach to the fence. They did a makeshift solution of sticking small bits of grass down the side which did not stay stuck down. There were large dips in the base where it had not been screed correctly and the sand infill was not done right - they had to send out another person to put it right as best he could. I had two inexperienced team members originally, they clearly need to be paired up with someone more experienced. Team left part way through the day on one occasion as they did not have sufficient equipment as they said it was being used on a larger job so clearly my smaller job was deemed not to be important. Lack of planning over delivery/placement of materials which caused confusion in the team. Overheard at one point, one of the staff members calling Dean to ask where the grass for the front lawn was as they couldn't find it. Communication was very poor, they turned up over 2 hours late one day and were not responding to phone calls during that time. The two staff members spent a large amount of time in the van smoking. At one point, they were installing by torch light in the evening because of poor planning. They asked me for my washing up bowl as they didn't have any container for mixing and I later found it discarded outside stained. A light was damaged by the team and the trellis on the fence was damaged. As part of an attempt at an apology, I was told I would be given two free annual maintenance visits. Despite me repeatedly chasing this up, they never came out. It is now 3 years since the grass was installed and I have had neither of the two maintenance visits. Extremely poor experience. Perhaps other areas of the franchise are ok but I would avoid using Wonderlawn in the East Midlands.

Wonderlawn personnel were professional, tidy, courteous and friendly and did a great job. To be thoroughly recommended.

UPDATE 24/8/26 Lawn finally repaired and to give credit to the fitters it looks really good. Only took 2hours so why we had to chase and push so hard to get a simple repair is beyond me.. Very disappointing experience - £3,600 spent and still waiting for a problem to be resolved
I would strongly advise anyone considering Wonderlawn to think very carefully before going ahead.
We paid E3,600 for our lawn, which was installed at the beginning of June.
Unfortunately, part of the lawn is uneven and has failed to lift properly compared with the rest of the lawn.
We reported the problem to Wonderlawn in June. Despite them initially responding promptly and agreeing there was a problem they have still not returned to resolve the issue, and we are left with a lawn that is not as it should be after paying such a substantial amount of
money.
What is particularly disappointing is the lack of urgency and unprofessional excuses such as we are too busy,very poor after-sales service. We paid for a professional installation and expected the work to be completed properly. When something goes wrong, the very least you expect is for the company to take responsibility and put it right promptly.
Instead, we have been left waiting and chasing for a resolution.
£3,600 is a significant amount of money, and we expected a much higher standard of workmanship and customer service. The experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.
Based on our experience, I would not recommend Wonderlawn. Before spending your money, I would strongly suggest looking at the after-sales service and how existing customers' problems are dealt with.
We simply want the defective section of our lawn properly replaced and the problem resolved. That should not be too much to ask after paying £3,600. Please do not not give this company any of your hard earned money the initial process may well go well but once they have your money they don’t want to know. Their word and their warranty are as worthless as each other. All our job entailed was replacing a small area of grass and they don’t want to know and their excuses have now turned into downright lies. So if they can’t honour a small repair like ours god help you if you need anything more. Best to give your money to another company seeing as this one is happy to leave a 82 year old recently widowed woman with a substandard lawn.

I have no qualms in recommending Wonderlawn who have recently installed circa 80m2 of prestige artificial grass.
I rang a few contractors for prices, a couple viewed the work and others just priced the work over the phone.
Without any previous knowledge of Wonderlawn, apart from reviews on the internet, I called them and Barry came out to view the work.He brought a sample of the grass they supplied, he explained the process from start to finish.
They quoted the work and their price was competitive.
We discussed a programme of work and as promised the operatives turned up on time and completed the work in a professional manner.
Any questions we had they answered in a friendly knowledgeable manner.
They left my property clean and tidy and everyone who have seen the work have commented on how good it looks

This is the second install I have had carried out by Barry and the team at Wonderlawn. They installed grass at my old house and in the 3 years it was down it still looked like it had just been installed.

So in my new house the first thing I did is call Barry to come out and give me an estimate. He came out bang on the time, brought products and talked me through the options on the new job.

He was honest, courteous and a real gentleman. I received a comprehensive estimate. With all garden renovations it’s weather dependant.The team at Wonderlawn are good but then are not god and can’t control the weather especially in December.

Despite the weather the team started the install quicker than I expected, the were really respectful of the property, and cleaned up after themselves everyday.

Amazing job again, we love our new lawn, high quality products, outstanding installation, great price and first class customer service. I’d highly recommend Barry and the team.

Very reliable and knowledgeable company. High quality work and affordable price. Went out of their way to ensure work was finished in a timely fashion, which included coming at weekends. Has resulted in my children doing a lot more football/ exercise in the garden.

These lads are top drawer. Although my house is set up 12 steps from the road side there was no complaints and they just cracked on shifting 3.5ton of soil. The finish is outstanding. There’s a join somewhere but I can’t see it. More than happy with their work and would highly recommend

I knew before hand what I was getting.
The whole team were all knowledgeable, and explained in depth which I asked about , quality, durability , practically for dogs, how to care for the artifical grass, cost,
Draining issues etc.

Total Price I found reasonable for the quality of the grass and workmanship.
My garden looks transformed.

They took care of everything for me whilst I was on holiday. No mess no fuss juat bill to pay on my return which was straightforward with a invoice and bank details.

Dogs love it and it bounces straight back after them running and rolling all over it 🙈🫶.

Would definitely recommend these guys.

Mel and his team arrived as planned with out delay. Mel was very professional . The team got straight onto the job and the result was excellent. I have no hesitation to recommend Wonder Lawn for installing artificial turf of high quality and workmanship.

Although there was no need for a seem if running the artificial grass across the the lawn, they insisted the way the pile lays it should be run down the lawn! Obviously the pile will stay the same for more than a couple of weeks! Seems don't matter, they are invisible!

Really happy from start to finish! The guys worked none stop in 25degree heat & the end result is great - couldnt rate them or the lawn enough & would recommend to anyone!

We are very pleased with our new artificial grass pitch. Mel & the team did a good job and worked very hard across multiple weeks to finish the job on time. We think the new surface looks very realistic and our boys, both keen footballers are very happy with the new football pitch!

Due to the nature of the lawn, Mel advised us to go for the drainage system which was extra cost but seems to be working very well so far.

Mel delivered on what we were expecting, on budget and on time. We would highly recommend.

What a fantastic job by Barry and his team! They really went above and beyond to get everything right for us. And although our lawn wasn’t big, it wasn’t a straight forward job either. I would definitely recommend Womderlawn to everyone.

Had my rear garden done ,it is a 8 shaped garden so not straight forward but Barry and Mel explained everything in detail and the job was completed with out any problems and it looks fantastic would highly recommended

I could not thank the team enough. We’ve not got a lawn we can use all year round. We were never able to use the garden from August to April with drainage issues and surface water, it was a boggy mess.. the quality of the artificial grass used is the best I’ve ever seen. Their guarantees are superb too. I’ve had no issues with anything since the day they left the finished job. Well worth the money time and effort.
