Wood Prairie has been supplying seed potatoes to me for many years. The potatoes have always arrived on time and in good shape. Whenever I have had questions about when to plant and how to plant, I got immediate intelligent advice. Needless to say, the crops have been excellent. In fact, we are still as a family eating potatoes from last year's crop. The are delicious and highly recommended. Unfortunately, I have not had similar success with seed potatoes from other sources. Amazon seed potatoes have arrived in bad shape with fungal infections so bad they did not grow and were a waste of money and time. In short, Wood Prairie is highly recommended without hesitation or reservation.

I planted 2018 season of potatoes from Wood Praire Family Farm. The results were very good and we will have potatoes through the winter. Not only that, the plants as they grew gave the garden a deep rich green hue and the pollinators were abundant. The patriotic red, white and blue potatoes came in during July, great timing?

We ordered the Experimenters Special, with four kinds of potatoes: Rose Finn, All Blue, Adirondack Blue and Red Norland. With about 12 starter potatoes and no prior experience as potato growers, I didn't expect a lot - but at the end of August we harvested about 100 potatoes! Honest and helpful information shipping is always good

We buy Maine-grown, pesticide free, heritage variety whole rye and oat groats and whole corn kernals from Wood Prairie Farm. The grains arrive promptly via UPS in heavy duty paper sacks, sewn shut. They store dry and cool, as whole grain for years, although we usuallly use what we order within the year. We crack the rye for rye meal and grind it into flour for our bread. We slow cook the whole oat groats for our morning porridge. Corn bread made with freshly ground dried corn is incomparable. The difference between these fresh foods and what you will ordinarily find in the food industry is huge. Delicious flavor, hearty, filling, nutritious foods. We are so lucky to have this farm in our state. Thank you, Wood Prairie Farms
