We regularly order our seed potatoes from Wood Prairie Family Farm. The product we receive is great and it arrives on the date we specify. We have ordered from competitors in the past, who had lower prices, but the difference in yield is so significant that the is costs us less overall to buy the better seed potatoes from Wood Prairie.

We are so glad to be able to purchase seed potatoes and vegetable seeds from Wood Prairie Farm. We have a high rate of germination and everything we plant from WPF is true to stock. We have been loyal customers for over 10 years and they are reliable, trustworthy and always organized.

Severely limited crop this year, worked with owners on getting replacement seed potatoes for next season. Harvest may have been weather related, next year should solve the issues encountered.

Staff was helpful on the phone. Seed potatoes arrived at expected time in excellent condition. All potatoes germinated several plant each.

The seed potatoes grew smaller tubers than expected. Plants looked strong and healthy all year but the tubers didn't achieve desired size. Plants were grown in a healthy, established garden amongst other productive plants. This was my first and last year using Wood Prairie seed potatoes. I plan on buying seed potatoes grown in a zone more similar to my garden.

Excellent quality and customer service! I return to Wood Prairie Family Farm year after year for my potatoes. One year I accidentally ordered food potatoes and instead of seed and they called me to make sure that's what I wanted. I was really grateful. I have been buying seed potatoes from WPFF for about 10 years and have never been disappointed with their service or product I would without any reservation recommend them to anyone.I also admire their commitment to a positive and sustainable farming practices.

I order three different types of potatoes each and every year. Then I plant them on March 17 in different places from where I planted them last year. Each year I dig up many wonderful potatoes and store them in my basement. I like Yukon Gold, Red Norland and then a different potatoe than I have planted before.

We plant a small garden. Seed packet sizes provide more than an adequate amount. Ordered seeds arrived in plenty of time for early planting if that's what we chose to do. Even with the extended dry period in early June seed germination was excellent. We had to do a lot of thinning. We also planted summer wheat. Previously we had not had much luck with seed from out of state. This crop is doing very well. It looks like a very good harvest to come.

WE have been ordering a variety of cover crop seeds and potato seedlings for a decade. Orders come promptly and the results in our garden prove that well shepherded, organic seeds produce vigorous and prolific crops. Our bees, soil, and our menus have all been the beneficiaries of Wood Prairie Family Farm. We highly recommend this source. And why not support a family farm in beautiful, rugged northern Maine!!

Great potatoes - order early, though, because you may not get the selections that you want otherwise. I've gotten squeezed out two years in a row for one of my favorite varieties.
Order these potatoes if you are serious about growing potatoes with an amazing taste - but don't order if you aren't going to follow through because they are relatively pricey (not that I've shopped around...)

Excellent seed potatoes! I have been using them for several years now and I always have the best potatoes. Love the quality and variety. Caribe is a variety that we really love and try to grow each year - it should probably be in every garden that's growing potatoes!
