It is a shame that you have taken sponsorship from a company - Shell - that has no intention of reducing their total emissions by 45% by 2030 as ordered by a court in the Hague; the reduction the judge deemed necessary for us to have a hope of staying near Paris targets of 1.5 degrees centigrade. Instead Shell are appealing and have not denied that their total emissions will in fact increase by 2030. I for one cannot listen to a station that accepts such dirty money.

For a cool station like Absolute Radio to be pairing up with a company like Shell just makes my stomach churn, it puts me off listening.
Planet on fire and code red for humanity, and you’re giving a filthy oil company air time for the sake of £1,000?

I am disgusted to hear constant promotion of greenwashing activities by Shell. Shell are well known climate criminals who deliberately buried the truth about climate breakdown and funded denial for decades. They are responsible for destruction of communities around the world including in the Niger Delta, the world’s most polluted area, where they are known to have played a key role in the arrests and executions of the Ogoni 9 activists. Shame on Absolute Radio for giving this company a platform to sanitise their image to the public.

So bad now it has changed hands, i cant listen to the trivial dribble in the morning! All about competitions etc. Did these presenters go to school?
The original country hits presenters are great! But some of the music now is also questionable? Do the people who now run it know what good country is? It may be no repeat guarantee but i preferred the repeats... PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK

Saturday mornings are so boring on Absolute radio. It’s mainly talking by DJs. If you’re lucky, you might get a song here and there. Weekdays are okay. So why does Saturday morning have to be so crap?

This country channel has been trashed by planet never reckoned mick jagger and Fleetwood mac were country stars this station is going the same way as 4 music absolute radio rubbish

Couldn’t agree more with these reviews. On one particular show there was 7 minutes of adverts which was cut back to the two hosts Bush and whoever talking for another 5 minutes and then back to adverts. This is not a country channel. It’s a talk show with two people that have absolutely no idea about country music. Absolute radio you have ruined a perfectly great music channel for an extra couple of quid with the amount of adverts you’re airing. Will not tune in again.

Absolute used to be a pretty decent radio station. Now it is just pretty crap, I've been bombarded with less adverts on 2nd rate American TV channels.
Don't waste your time with Absolute, there are much better radio stations out there now.

Terrible - at all levels - they play same music constantly week in week out, month in month out (daily repeat guarantee - duh!) - when will it change ...........

In the evenings absolute rubbish. Ads cut in as soon as a song starts then another starts then another ad in middle. Worst thing ever. Won’t tune in again.

what has happened to the station normally very good in the week. Saturday mornings I have to change channel it's that boring

The absolute takeover is has made this station painful. Breakfast and evening DJs trying to be funny / constantly talking does absolutely not fit with the music style. Will go back to planet rock or alike. Assume very little user group testing done!

Johnny Cash will come back down to earth to whip the asses of those who have defaced the good name of country.

As the other reviews, country hits radio has been absolutely ruined. Used to get 4 or 5 great songs on my morning commute, but now I get one vaguely country tune and a load of complete drivel from the presenters. Retuned to planet rock, lets hope absolute don't get their hands on that as well. Disgraceful what's happened to the former best country broadcast there was :-(

Oh dear, on multiple occasions I've had to check im still listening to Absolute Country when a song comes on that is not Country. Its all very well having a no repeat guarantee if you're going to throw any old tune on to fill the time. I've given it a fair go but Country Hits Radio it is not. You've ruined my favourite station

Love the music you play and some of the dj's namely claire sturgess and chris martin but dave berry will laugh at anything and do so so over the top, bush and ritchie talk rubbish for 3hrs and sophie k knows nothing about rock music. Get some new dj's

Absolute Rubbish. Can't get with Absolute Radio Country after Country Hits. It's more about C list presenters self promoting, talking crap and conducting mindless phone in rubbish. The two early evening clowns are just intolerable whilst waiting for Paul Coffey. The disconnect between the ARC "show" and the real Country music I'd tuned in hoping to find is obvious. So long pal.

Does not even come close to country hits radio. Way too much presenter time, who don’t have a clue about country music. It’s a generic channel with the odd country song thrown in.
