No refund
See the review below I’ve copied and pasted this from another customer as it’s a mirror as to what has happened to me ! I sent an item back in March I’m now past the 20 days advised on their website .
If you order from this company and the item doesn’t fit expect to wait over a month to get a refund back and no response from email correspondence terrible experience and still waiting for a refund.
‘ According to the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, when buying goods or services online, by telephone, or by mail order, traders must refund you within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods back, or 14 days of being told you are cancelling the order if they are not collecting the goods.’

Oh my gosh where to start
Oh my gosh where to start, the returns process is horrific. I’m starting to wonder if there is a cash flow problem with them. I’m wondering if I’m ever going to get my refunds. I’ve had to go to my bank now after 5 e-mails have gone unanswered. This is for refunds dating back to February!!!!

Fed up waiting for a refund. Always slow, always have to email and chase. Have already posted on here about this and replied saying it was being dealt with. Obviously not. I need the refund back on to a credit note that will expire soon. So I will lose the money if they continue to delay. Their founder Kasia Bromley has a mega brag insta page about her wonderful life, I wish she'd spend more time sorting out her company's refund process

I am incredibly sorry to hear this, and I completely understand why you’re reaching the end of your tether. It is unacceptable that you have to chase your own money, especially with the added pressure of an expiring credit card.
Please provide your order number and the last 4 digits of the credit card in question. I will flag this as an "urgent financial risk" to the management team to bypass the standard queue.
If your card expires before the refund lands, don't worry—most banks still route refunds to the replacement card linked to the same account. However, we want to avoid that complication entirely by getting it done now.
I am escalating this to our Customer Experience Manager to investigate why your previous posts and emails weren't properly actioned. This shouldn't have slipped through the cracks twice.

Still no refund after a month
Following up on a review I left last week. Acai responded and told me to email again with a subject they specified and they would sort the refund. I did this, it is now a week later and I still haven’t received my refund. I emailed again and got a reply apologising again and assured me I would receive my refund today. I have still not received it. Acai have now had my returned item for a month. Acai can you just be honest and tell me when you will refund me, I’m not going to forget about it and I will seek legal advice.

I really like Acai products
I really like Acai products, I have skinny thermal trousers, skinny trousers a gillet, coat and tops. Really high quality products, true to size. I work out side to quality is important. The delivery is very fast, all items received in a few days.
What I don't understand is why if you return an item it takes 21 working days for a refund? They literally waiting until the last day to refund me.
If thsi was quicker it would be 5 * all round.
Customer service were prompt to reply when I questioned the length of time so another plus point.

I completely hear you on the 21 working day refund window. It is the one thing holding us back from that 5th star, and I understand how frustrating it is when the delivery is so fast but the return feels like it's on a "slow boat."
To give you some honest context on why it takes that long:
Manual Inspection: Because our gear is technical and high-quality, every return undergoes a manual check at our warehouse to ensure it's in perfect condition before the refund is triggered.
Batch Processing: During busy periods, we process returns in large batches, which can unfortunately lead to the system hitting that 21-day limit.
Bank Cycles: Once we trigger it, banks often add their own 3–5 day processing time on top.
We are actively working on shortening this window because we know it's a pain point for our best customers like you. Your feedback is a huge help in pushing that change forward internally.

Poor communication and still no refund
I ordered three different products of the same size. One fir, one too small and one too big. Returned the two unsuitable on 23 March. Still no refund. sent email on 4 April about this. A standard reply said someone would get back within 48 hours. They haven't. Found their telephone number. No-one picked up.
Really not good enough.

Great quality clothes
Such a good company. The clothes are always great quality and everything fits and moves really well. So nice to have hiking clothes that fit well. I've had my max stretch trousers for 6 years and they are still going strong.
Free, easy returns, quick refunds if something doesnt fit. Also bonus they don't use evri!!
