To be honest, I left Access Self Storage Sydenham about February this year because my business partner wanted a storage unit more central to both of us.
Our company and ASS parted without any issues, and the team at ASS Sydenham were professional and very helpful with this.
We started a new contract with big yellow in Beckenham, and at first the slightly cheaper cost and the honeymoon period was great, then we slowly realised that the constant changing of passwords was beginning to become a pain, then they informed us that there costing was based on a 4 week contract and not monthly, technically making it a 13 month year. Then they put the cost up by £23.00 per 4 week contract.
That's when we realised we were actually paying more than we were with ASS and after a few other issues, we decided that we had made a massive mistake.
We cancelled the contract with big yellow, and went directly back to ASS Sydenham.
We are now back with them for good, and on a personal note the team at ASS Sydenham are like a small family run business not a giant company.
Also one of there extras is they have an air conditioned computer room that is fitted out like a small office for all to use.
Please look very hard before you choose another Storage unit company,
Access Self Storage, Sydenham are simply the best out there.

After a few negotiations, Access came out on top for facilities and price for my personal and business needs.

I can only make my experience based on the Sydenham branch.
But if the rest of the company are anyway like the Sydenham branch, then your experience will be trouble-free.
Right from the minute I walked into the Sydenham branch, nothing was too much trouble. They showed me around the rooms and helped me choose the right one for me. I used my storage unit for just over a year, and when I couldn't remember my code number or needed any help at all, Mark, Josh, and Tracey were there with a smile. They really are a great team. They also have an air conditioned Internet room that I have spent many an hour completing invoices.
On a personal note, I did not think I was storing in a massive company unit, much more like a little family run business.
