Information received was constructive and helpful. Installation was prompt and efficient. Chairlift is a boon.

Very prompt reply to my original enquiry and a meeting was quickly arranged. Installation was complete within 10 days- amazing.

I contracted Acorn on on the 10/7 by phone as they would not reply to emails and spoke to a person in the service department to repot an F7 fault on our Stairlift.
The same day they sent me an email with a list of details they wanted photos.
I sent the list and photos back the same day 10/7.
On the 19/7 i sent another email to ask about the progress but got no replay.
I then sent another email also no eply.
So I called got through to the service department they told me it wqs being assessed by the sales department and they would contact me.
A week went bye no contact from acorn so I sent another email to service department waited they did not reply.
So I called and tried to get through to the sales team was told I need to speak to the service department.
I weas transferred to the service department explained that my wife was unable to leave our home with out assistance.
The lady said we are sorry and put me on hold to contact the sales when she came back on the phone she was unable to get an answr out of them but told me her manager was folloin up and at first told me that someone woul;d contact me the same day put me on hold again then came back and said I would be contacted before the end of the week.
I found a service person who repairs stairlifts I asked him to take a look he got back to me and told me Acorn would not supply him with any spares he may need and that he was not authorised to work on Acorn lifts.
They will not fix there own Stairlifts or support other servicemen to fix them.

Let me begin with saying the team at Acorn stir lifts are outstanding in their field , to be specific the person im addressing is Tony Overland , Tony is a great communicator and listener , nothing was ever an issue or to hard for him , he responded to every on going request that was bestowed on him from strata , with a calm accurate and professional attitude . My only regret was that the stair lift was not approved by strata , however dealing with Tony made it an easy exercise , he is a very patient person with good manners and pleasure to deal with , if you need a stair lift Acorn is your first place to call . EH

Hi I just had a Second hand stair chairlift installed for Mum by Acorn, the company was great and helpful.Most impressed by the Gentleman that came out to install it called "Brett" a lovely & obliging guy I can highly recommend him nothing was a problem.Thanking Brett and all the staff at Acorn for a job well done .

I had installed on the 11 March 2024 a Acorn 180 Curved Stairlift. The exterior of the chairlift was neat and looked good in the chair case, that’s where it ceased and my disappointment on the product was experienced.
The interior working, the rack and pinion I feel has a mechanical design fault. As the chair descends up and down the pinion clunks and bumps in the rack, more pronounced on the rack joins. I believe that in it's current working the chair is not suitable for a handicapped senior person.

The safety and energy saving is a lifesaver for me. When I said go they came out within a week and installed it perfectly. I haven’t walked up or down the stairs since getting the Acorn stair lift.

Without the stairlift my wife would not have been able to return home having fractured her hip. Product is working very well and my wife having come home is getting used to using it.

My life has been spent mainly in the house (due to medical problems) until our wonderful son sent a photo of The Acorn Stairlift and send it to me. I was worried about him spending money on me, but now it is installed, it really has given me so much joy. I can go downstairs (only three) without any trouble. My son thinks it is funny that I can go downstairs and hang some washing. The thought David put into making it so easy for me to just get on, toggle myself around press the button and stand up at the other end. One good fact is that it can be folded up so my husband can get up and downstairs. Thank you Acorn.

It started with the salesman, very easy going and understood our needs. no high pressure sales etc the product should sell itself. Then the installation, we were advised a time and the technician was there then, promptly installed the chairlift for us cleaned up after himself and explained in detail all the workings of the chair. Overall an excellent company to do business with, I would recommend them to anyone.

We cannot recommend Acorn Stairlifts highly enough. Tyler and James did a wonderful job of installing our outdoor stairlift. From beginning to end, our association with them was on point. Professional, helpful, and affordable. You will not be disappointed if you choose this company.

Initial Complaint Made To The Installer Before He Left The Premises.

I'm am nearly 75 years old and recently lost my wife.
I'm currently in excellent health and I saw your product advertised and thought it would be a good idea to invest in a chair lift to access the upper level at my residence.
A person now known to me as Aaron Robinson came out and measured up the installation for the chair lift and we sat down to discuss the price.
A price was agreed and a installation date provided.
My complaint is not with the installer, he did a good job.
My complaint is that there is to many joins in the system making the ride bumpy and uncomfortable; coupled with the system is slow and almost comes to a stop when changing direction.
When this was discovered on completion of the chair lift installation, the installer told me it was a modular installation and this is what to expect with this type of installation.
This was a very disappointing explanation when the cost of this chair lift should not have these issues.
If these issues were known, then should have been explained prior to signing up, not after the installation.
The date of experience was noted on the final hand over sheet and also mentioned to the installer before he left the premises.

All Acorn staff we dealt with were helpful, courteous and thoroughly professional. They made the experience of buying the stairlift and having it installed very painless. The lift is a great help and we would thoroughly recommend Acorn and their products.

Very happy with the service and speed of delivery. The time of quote to the bespoke install was about 10 days. With only one bathroom upstairs we needed the lift urgently. All the team were helpful and professional. The stairlift is easy to operate. Would highly recommend to anyone.
