Just recently completed the National 3 Peaks in 24 Hours Challenge with Chris & Nic at Active Mountaineering. Two of the loveliest & most humorous people, both making the challenge seem easier than it should be!
The organisation, professionalism and dedication was unparalleled. A 24 hour challenge means a 24 hour challenge to them - no messing around!
Had the best time!
Will definitely be booking some more trips in the future :)

Active Mountaineering are the best company to use if you want to do the National 3 Peaks in 24 hours. They offer a 'true' 24 hour challenge. The enthusiasm they have doing this week in week out amazes me. They know what needs to be done and make you you do it. Thanks guys

I recently completed the 3 peaks with Nic and Chris at active. I’ve also done the challenge with a few other with other unnamed companies previously. From experience Active is the only company that actually do it as a 24 hour challenge.
Their organisation is second to non and they’ll push you to your breaking to get you over the line.
100% recommend

Just finished the National three peaks with Active Mountaineering, the professionalism and organisation was second to none.
Chris &Nic and all the guides through the whole challenge kept our team safe and on track throughout, so if your thinking about doing the three peaks these are the guys to go with.

Cancelled national 3 peaks 6:30 pm the night before the challenge! Poor communication with group and were completely unappreciative of wider affects to bookings (travel to location, accommodation cancellations). No offers of refunds to book with someone else who have their ducks in alignment.
So disappointed!

Really well organised and well run challenge by Chris and Nic. I'd definitely recommend going through a group such as this one, get time to rest, get well guided up the mountains and you WILL complete it in time if you put your mind to it.. and stay within 6 feet of the lead guide 😁

Amazing experience ! I recently completed the 24 peaks challenge with Nic and Chris and it was super organised and safe from the off ! They are totally committed to you and your challenge within the 24 hours. If you are really passionate about doing this challenge you won't find a better company or experience like these guys ! Fantastic w/end with these guys. Cannot recommend them enough. They are tough, down to earth…and amazing! Everything was so well organised and they gave absolutely all information required. I went with my son…he completed it sub 24 hours…I on the other hand flagged by mountain 3! So went up them all, but didn’t quite ‘make it’. It was still an incredible experience…and has totally inspired me to get that little bit fitter and then definitely book with Chris and Nic again…this time to smash it! Thank you so much xx

Active mountaineering for me made an uncomfortable and painful weekend fun and fulfilling, the weather was horrible but they were funny and kept things professional and pushed me through every wall. If you want someone to believe in you when you don’t believe in yourself in that moment of struggle then choose these guys to get you through the challenge and back!

3 Peaks National Challenge Fabulous experience I would definitely recommend Active Mountaineering if you are considering doing this. Chris and Nic were great and the additional guides were also amazing (special mention for Amy on Ben Nevis). It’s a considerable challenge, so please make sure you follow the training plan in the weeks leading up to it.
I plan to go back and do the 3 Peaks over 3 days with Active Mountaineering, so I have time to enjoy the views.

Have just completed the national 3 peaks in 24 hours challenge with Active Mountaineering and could not recommend them enough. They had everything organised extremely well, were friendly and helpful before and during the challenge, and provided us with all the information and guidance to completely the challenge successfully in under 24 hours. It doesn't seem possible when that 24 hours includes travel time but it very much is possible due to the organisation and knowledge of Nic and Chris (and local guides and drivers) who were all amazing. The only thing they couldn't control was the awful weather but even despite that being against us we completed the challenge. Already eyeing up my next adventure with these guys!

These guys were amazing right from the start,putting everyone at ease with their sense of humour. letting everyone know what to expect, what times we had, when and what to eat. They never left anyone out. Depending on your ability they included you and made you give it your best without you feeling like a failure if you couldn't achieve it . 100% go with these guys again, awesome team..

I had the best experience ever with this amazing company. Run by down to earth genuine salt of the earth people, who are clearly very passionate about what they do. I will definitely be booking again for next year.

I can’t recommend Nic and Chris enough, from the moment I enquired about the challenge they were supportive and encouraging.

The trip itself is so well organised and Nic and Chris’s incredible knowledge and experience fills you with confidence.

If you want to take on this challenge and actually get it done in the 24hrs then this is the company to use! They are the perfect mix of ‘No nonsense’ and total ‘motivation’ and I wouldn’t want to do it with anyone else.

I went on this challenge on my own and I was worried that everyone else would be in groups, but Nic and Chris got us all working as a team, and I met some great friends!

I’m looking to book another adventure with Active Mountaineering and would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for an adventure of there own.

Shout out to Chris and Nic. If you want to get 3 peaks done in 24 hours this is team to use. It's hard, you are pushed hard but you are well looked after and you will enjoy it. Not for the feint hearted. Word of advice - get some training in, I would've enjoyed it 10x more if I was that little more fit and at the age of 36 I am the fittest I have been since my teens. There were times where I really had to have a word with myself to push on and the support of the guides and the rest of the group gets you through those dark times - the buzz you get when you get over that line sub 24 hours is immense.

Nic and Chris are absolutely fantastic and so are the local mountain guides. I recently completed the three peaks challenge with them and the experience was fantastic from start to finish.

The challenge is for 24 hours, the clocks starts at 8:30 am and stops the following day at 8:30 am. Both Nic and Chris push everyone single participant of the challenge to give them the best chance of completing. There is a bit of tough love involved, but I think everyone needs that, especially when completing such a challenge.

The timings of the trip are very strict and this is to ensure that everyone gets a fair chance of summiting each mountain and complete the challenge within 24 hours.

They give a informative and fun briefing on the coach journey to Fort William and also before each mountain to prepare you for the challenge ahead.

I couldn’t recommend this company enough and cannot to book my next challenge with them.

If you want to take part in the challenge with no nonsense, feel part of a team, meet great people and achieve your true 24 hour 3 peak challenge, then doing it with Chris and Nic is the way forward! They take great pride in making sure everyone achieve’s their goal of under 24 hours! They give continued encouragement throughout, know how to motivate everyone and make the whole experience a brilliant one! I couldn’t recommend them high enough to be honest… my first time with them and it definitely won’t be my last as I am now going to book up for Mount Toubkal in Morocco next year! They’re a great team!

I loved everything about this group !!! So professional , so organised ! Chris and Nic are so cute ! It’s the first time I’ve ever done anything like this but I loved it . It was super hard and there were moments when I nearly gave up but their nagging lol helped . The whole group was amazing . You will love them too !
