AJ Movers helped me with the delicate job of recovering the personal and sentimental effects of a dear aunt who has had to repatriate to UK after half a century living in Rome. They carefully packed her possessions in accordance with detailed instructions. Removed all her goods via a tortuous route from 4th floor apartment to quite distantly parked van. Then within 2 days they returned it all to me for safekeeping. I'm very grateful and relieved that all has gone so smoothly.

I was very pleasantly surprised with this company. It's the first time I have used them to deliver large items of furniture from England to France, and I must admit it all seemed too easy to be true.
My original booking was done via a 3rd party website that provided AJmovers as a recommendation. Then afterwards all logistics and the final payment process were done directly via themselves.
They explained to me they would contact me around 1 to 2 days before to confirm the exact pickup date (I asked for a weekend delivery - Saturday or Sunday), and then on the day of pickup, they would contact me 2 hours beforehand.
I have had no previous experience with a delivery company and I was a little bit worried due to how straightforward it was, so needed some reassurance. I contacted them, via telephone and the 3rd party website, to ask for some final information. Andy got back to me very quickly via message and helped calm my nerves. I also asked to speak to him on the phone as it was easier for me and I managed to get in contact the following day very easily.
On the pickup day, the drivers even turned up before the original time quoted, but the delivery driver communicated well.
The delivery process was very quick and they turned up 2 days later in France.
On the day of delivery, they said they would contact me 30 minutes before arrival, and they also sent me several location updates.
The only small thing was there was a bump / small break to an item, but nothing that can not be fixed easily with some glue and sealant. This however does not take away from the 5-star review I will give them.

Very impressed and straight forward. We were moving some furniture from the UK to our home in France so were initially overwhelmed with new rules since BREXIT. Andy handled the lot really well and the guys were great. They picked up our goods on time and assembled them the other end. All round 10/10. I'll definitely use again and will be referring to my clients and contacts. Also, price point was spot on!

I would recommend for a local move with some flexibility on the dates at all times.

For us it was an international move to western EU.
On the bright side, it was quite cheap, all items arrived in excellent condition and the collection was done in the range of dates we agreed on upfront. The crew was nice and efficient on their job.

On the bad side, communication with the manager was terrible before the week of the move. It took 5 weeks to get a specific date for the move (just 1 week before D day). Before that, Andy would not answer our emails for 9 days and when we called him he would not give explanations but he hangs up on us instead.
At which point we were seriously wondering if we were getting scammed and on the edge to start looking for someone else.
Then he decided to do the collection 1 day earlier. We just received an email at 3PM telling us that the collection will be done tomorrow at 4PM.

The delivery was not well planned neither. We just had probability of it happening one day or another.
We were lucky to have parking places available as in those conditions it's not possible to reserve them in advance.

People worked very hard and were very kind, had to get an extra van as there was too much stuff and didn’t cost anything extra. Really nice and hard working people.

Very fast and efficient turnaround to deliver our handcrafted table from Paris to London. We were hugely impressed by their swiftness and they were very friendly and kind.

Ive used AJMovers three times now - each time for a mixed part load of furniture and boxes from UK to rural France. On each occasion communication with Andy before has been easy, polite and efficient. Andy has suggested different dates - he’s obviously juggling a lot - but has always fitted in with our convenience. I’ve now met 5 of the delivery team and they are universally polite, friendly, uncomplainingly hard-working and amenable. Everything arrived in perfect condition and they placed things exactly where we requested in a small cottage with narrow doors, stone floors and a steep narrow staircase. I would recommend them unhesitatingly and would certainly use them again.

We booked AJ Movers (via AnyVan.com) for removals from Germany to the UK. This was the contents of an entire three bedroom house (including garage and garden shed). Two (long wheelbase 3.5 ton) vans were used, with two guys in each for loading (we did our own packing). (Tip: make sure you give an accurate packing list- for volume of van and customs). They arrived midday on the day specified (Monday) and delivered early on the day specified (Wednesday). Nobody could have worked harder (in 32 C heat) or more efficiently - always respecting our furniture (nothing was damaged) - polite nice guys. They came with everything they needed (blankets, straps, trolleys, etc). Communication before and during the removals was fine (maybe more clarity on customs arrangements beforehand could be better) and payment made on arrival. Overall a really good experience (based on having moved several times in Europe) and good value for money. We'd use them again and can recommend them. Thanks to Andy and team.

We had a 6 cubic metre shipment from France to the UK, the 2 guys arrived exactly on time following a phone call the previous day to arrange. Packing was swift and efficient, the guys were friendly and helpful. Arrived on time 2 days later, zero breakages. Would recommend
