This is my first experience ordering online

This is my first experience ordering online and its been a pleasure, especially with the help of Stephanie who as answered my questions every time I've been in touch. I purchased a Ford Puma and it arrived in the good condition I would have expected to being new. I'm hoping the after sales continues to be as good as when I purchased the car. I have downloaded the ford assist app. I hope the good experience continues ready for me to buy again in a couple of years.

Allen Ford Crayford

I had a starting problem with my car and took it to Allen Ford Crayford where I had purchased it from, there was a slight delay in getting the parts as the distribution warehouse was closed for H&S reasons, got the car back now starts everytime. Well done team Crayford & thank you.

Absolute Robbers for Parts

Had to order a set of washers for my focus air con. Firstly it took 2 weeks to get delivery to my 3rd party garage to fit ( because Ford are astronomical in repair prices). Received eventually a plastic bag with about 6 washers in it. Kid you not, the bag was no bigger than 3inches square. You would think £25 or so considering its manufacturers part. NO…. Over £100 !!!!! Dick Turpin didn’t even rob people of as much.

Mean Green MK4.5 ST.

Bought used Focus ST all the way from bonnie Edinburgh.

Had been looking at an S3s M2s and RSs before seeing the mk4.5 Focus in the flesh. Had a few unsuccessful attempts before finding a couple I liked. I dealt with a gentleman called Dylan who was incredibly responsive to my various queries and concerns including photograohs etc. Buying a car 340 miles away has that effect. Nothing to worry about in the end. Finance and deposit sorted and car delivered promptly. The car did arrive with kerbed wheels in part due to the severe weather the logistics company dealt with. Ford and the comoany covered that cost. My drivers window was also fully open and unable to close during said severe weather but my local Ford at Sighthill in Edinburgh fixed this within a couple of hours to keep me dry and then replaced everything the next week. I also had to the 2nd year service a week after getting the car (oil change etc).

Car is immaculate though and the thing IMHO that sets Ford apart from other dealers is the customer service. Between my local team and Dylan at Allen Motorgroup I'm in safe hands. I was put off the Audi by previous experiences at Edinburgh Audi and their customer service specifically. They seemed genuinely disinterested. I had a B8 RS4 previously and had moved to a new kuga for some space for my family. So I had no issues in buying a fast car but they were hopeless.

Soon as I mentioned the wheels Dylan confirmed they would cover the costs.

Regular updates from day 1 with Dylan on the car and finance etc.

I'd have no issues dealing with Dylan again and will recommend him personally when friends are discussing a new vehicle.

Always quick to respond and nothing was too much effort even after the vehicle had arrived and been paid for. I've got OCD so I can definitely be a pain!!

I bought a new Puma and he was brilliant making the purchase so easy and flawless.
Great way to buy a car and he was always at hand for any questions and to provide help. Love my car and would certainly buy through Dylan again. Massive thanks Dylan 😊

Excellent service.

Sid (Rahman, I think) was probably the best sales person I've dealt with. He was personable, good at answering questions, dealing with concerns and willing to go the extra mile. A big improvement on the past at the Northampton showroom. Acquiring the car I wanted, test driving, doing the deal all went according to the plan. The inevitable pressures to buy, but all pleasantly done. Thank you. Would just be nice if other people in the showroom acknowledged you when you walked in.

A great experience buying my new Ford Puma. Wayne Stuart could not have been more helpful. Communication was great. It was all very smooth and simple. The car was delivered to my door and my old car collected on time within 2 weeks of my first contact. An excellent service.

Francesca Miller, the sales consultant reassured me that this was no problem and indeed it was not. The trading in of my old vehicle and purchasing of the new was handled by Francesca in exemplary style. She is a credit to Allen Ford.

Me and the wife went to allen ford in coventry for a new car. We was approached by salesman Paul Thomson who went above and beyond to help us get the right car he was pleasant and polite,We picked our new kuga up on 28/6/24,love the car and paul showed us everythink on car 10/10, P,S, Paul makes a lovely cuppa.

Selling broken cars

Bought a 2019 Ford Kuga with 9k on the clock back late 2023. The engine stopped firing last weekend. Was told by two separate mechanics/garages that the engine was bad and needs to be replaced asap. Paid over 22k for the car. I’m now stuck without a car and trying to get the insurance to sort this out. Will never buy from Allen Ford ever again

Customer service non existent

Been buying brand new fords since 2006, this is my 11th. The experience I had with this dealership is totally disgusting, they answer your phone calls every time when you are buying the vehicle but once transaction has gone through all you get is the person you are dealing with is not in today. Car arrived with dent in door marks on bonnet , media system faulty. Rusty screws put in rear number plate. Complaint has been filed with ford motor company and ford credit who are sorting out compensation with me. You have been warned. I wouldn’t use these if they were the last Ford dealership on earth. This car was supplied by the Swindon branch but sold by Northampton branch both totally useless

Recently bought a Ford Puma ST Line Vignale 155 DCT in Fantastic Red and we are delighted with the car and the service we received from Syd. He did everything he could to make the purchase fuss-free and efficient, the car was ready and immaculate when we arrived to collect it. Thanks Syd, you were great.

All good until the purchase is…

All good until the purchase is complete. The vehicle arrived and was discovered (a short while later) to have electrical issues and bodywork damage. Absolutely no response to repeated contact attempts to the dealer. Disgraceful.
