Excellent service

I have been assisted by Simon Loft, the National Key Account Manager and Boni Chakanyuka a Partnership Associate during the set up of my Business Rewards account. Both have been excellent, very knowledgeable.
Would definitely recommend!

Henok has been great from the get go

Henok has been great from the get go. Our business accounts and general support has been on a 1 to 1 basis. Henoks continued support makes things easy for us as a business as we can just pick up the phone and discuss things directly. Clarity and understanding when banking is always a bonus!

Allica Bank - amazing

The experience with Allica has been first class from start to finish. Dan Kilsby, in particular, has been amazing. He’s communication and attention to detail have been impeccable. The whole process has been smooth. It’s how banking should and was traditionally. When Dan went away on holiday, the team handled matters expertly - from Eugene to the customer support was very much appreciated.

No search functionality

Good bank. Awful app. You cannot even search for transactions which makes business banking tricky. Our relationship manager tells me it's on the list for them to develop. Unacceptably poor.

Poor

I've banked with Barclays since childhood and am not planning to move my personal account but I wasn't happy with my business account. I'd seen a lot of advertising from Allica so started the process of opening a business account. After completing the initial application I had a call from one of their team within a day or two to continue the application, but I couldn't speak at that point because I was in a meeting. The lady said she'd call me back the next day at 11am but no call came. Then I got an email asking me to book a call with somebody called Faith. I duly went through the online process of booking a call but when it was due, and I was sat there waiting, no call arrived! Now I've had yet another email asking me to continue my application by booking another call but I'm not wasting any more of my time. There is little point of all the advertising when they book calls with you but then don't call back. In my view its a really bad sign of how you'll be treated when you become a customer. I'm now looking at Revolut, Tide, Starling and some of the others to see how they perform instead.

Excellent business onboarding…

Excellent business onboarding experience.

App is user friendly, we get interest on savings, and generally looking forward to the full switch in the coming week.

Business Account Switch

Having recently made the switch for my business account to Allica Bank i have to say that the platform is a huge step up from my previous bank and the service has been top notch.
Special thanks to my account manager Henok Aklilu who has been on hand at all times to help with my raft of questions when making the move, and who provided guidance and regular check ins on all steps in the process!

Shout out to Henok Aklilu!

Switched from Tide to Allica for the interest rates but I must say we will be staying for the long haul and the process has been a delight. Mainly hands off from our side as our contact Henok Aklilu dealt with every step for us! Lovely guy and he kindly reminded us that every day we were delaying we were losing free money! Looking at finance options, the Allica eco-system will definitely be where we go. Thanks again Henok

Compared to others Allica Bank stands out

Having experience of all the major banks (plus a few challanger banks) covering many businesses it was a delight to find Allica Bank. The service level Allica Bank achieves should in my opinion, be the aspiration of all banks. Thank you in particular to Brodie for guiding us through opening several accounts to date - with more to follow soon.

To receive personal attention from a bank at all is a rarity these days, but the service from Allica Bank is from the golden age of banking. Just superb!

When I applied to open an account with Allica Bank I was assigned to Brodie Scott to take me through the process.
Brodie responded to my request quickly and efficiently and was in constant contact throughout the process.
Once my application was approved she called and took me through the onboarding process. She was a pleasure to deal with - Thank You Brodie
