Package not shipped promptly then arrived late despite paying for expedited shipping - refund refused
I purchased some pjs for my bridesmaid and the sizing chart was way off. I ordered 3 sizes larger than the sizing chart suggested she was, as she likes them loose, and to our horror they were too small!
I then had to quickly order a larger size, which I paid to be expedited, but they weren’t shipped promptly, and then they sat for days at the airport. This meant that the new set arrived after my wedding and we weren’t able to use them.
When I reached out to the company to explain and seek to return the second, totally unopened set, for a refund, they refused to engage. I am now stuck with two pairs of pjs that we can’t use (the first that didn’t fit due to the poor sizing guidance, and the second that arrived late).
The company’s response was really unsympathetic and unreasonable - especially given how much I had paid for the expedited shipping, (nearly the whole cost of the pjs themselves), only for them to not truly be expedited. I was told they only offer exchanges - but my wedding is over, so I don’t need or want anything else from their store.
Buyers beware!!
Edit to add: I’m not sure why this is tagged with “unprompted review”. I’m guessing it is because the company didn’t offer me a trustpilot review link with the purchase (I had to go hunting for where/how I could post a review, as I purchased off their website rather than Etsy). But this review has been prompted by poor customer service.
