As always when visiting Altons have found them both
professional and helpful in dealing with my enquires.
Very friendly staff, and well run covid rules.

Unfortunately have now moved away from the area but for 15 years Alton's was a regular weekend trek. Without question one of the best garden centres in Essex. However the only downside for me is the number of plants have decreased with a corresponding increase in home & garden products. Not to say I dont understand the reason why Altons did this.

After ordering online I received a call from Alton’s offering various delivery slots. Goods turned up on time. Very satisfied with there service.

Came just before the new covid rules. Met my friend and daughter and baby thought we could have a sit chat feed baby and shop But no. I am not brilliant at standing fir long either. Nowhere to rest at all even outside ! Decorations lovely but some people can not do it all in one go

Visited last week with our granddaughter to see your Christmas displays. She loved them all! Great place to visit & we will return very soon.

I can't fault the Garden Centre itself or the staff that I have met but their website throws up some random results. I also seem to remember being invited to join an emailed newsletter that came to nothing.

A large garden centre with an impressive range of products. The staff are always willing to demonstrate how products work and give advice. Its always a pleasure to go to this garden centre.

We have been customers at Alton for over 40 years and have always been treated exemplary ,the quality Of the plants and bushes is excellent , and the after sales service is first class .On the rare occasions that we have had a problem,it has always been resolved without a quibble

Very helpful and practical advice when choosing a new garden shed. Friendly and knowledgeable salesman who took the time to make sure I chose the most suitable building for my needs.

Best it's ever been
Alton's Garden Centre has upped it's game again this year. The layout and variety of Christmas decorations is phenomenal. Took my children with me the other day and it became a big event that they are still talking about. They were spellbound by the decorations and worlds that were created. I prefer it this year from previous years as it just felt more spacious and less cluttered, even though there is still loads everywhere it is really well organised. Lots of tree decorating ideas. The staff are as always so friendly and helpful. Top service.

The displays were not up to the usual very high standard that we have come to expect, although the nativity scene was splendid, we understand that COVID may have impacted the displays or you felt it was time for a change. Although there were plenty of colour schemes in the decoration department to buy.

Really enjoyed the trip to mystery Christmas land. There’s something for every taste and budget

Always have a good experience at altons, will forever and always be my go to gardening supply store, staff are always very helpful and give me the best information when i need it

Brilliant team who are always there to help.

This garden centre is really good value for money,all the plants and shrubs are in good condition,and if they haven't got it they'll order it in for you.The staff are friendly and helpful their knowledge of what they sell is outstanding,the bistro is always clean and tidy and the food is delicious and not overpriced unlike other venues,this is my no:1 place to go for all my gardening needs.

Went there to get some pots, had whatvi wanted, it felt nice walking round the place, they had all covid precautions in place & working well, well done Altons

Visited today 22/10/20 and went to Garden Furniture, Steve who served us was most helpful, polite and friendly. We purchased a garden table and chairs and covers for them.We have always found Steve to be very knowledgable about all the range of products and he has guided us to what was required. Alton Garden Centre is by far the best garden centre in the county.

Even through lockdown, always helpful and, as always, good value for money

We recently took our granddaughter to see the Christmas displays and buy a few trinkets.
The staff were helpful and courteous towards us.
