Colin was fantastic to work with

Colin was fantastic to work with. Very pleasant and answered all questions. He worked this all out with my brother since I was in the hospital and was extremely helpful. We both enjoyed working and conversing with him. He treated us with friendliness and was always joyful. He is superb at what he does. I’d give him a 10 plus with personality. Hope the installation is as good as Colin.

Update: installation issues satisfactorily resolved

April 8, 2026 update:

Our issue has now been satisfactorily resolved following a service visit arranged by AmeriGlide. The technician who came on-site was excellent — knowledgeable, professional, and effective. We have only positive things to say about his work.

In retrospect, the root cause appears to have been related to the original installation (performed by an independent contractor, not AmeriGlide), combined with difficulty accessing effective support early in the process.

From a customer perspective, this situation highlights a gap: while AmeriGlide provides the product and warranty, resolving issues can be challenging when coordination between installer and manufacturer support is not seamless. Additional installer support resources or certification standards could help prevent similar situations.

We are ultimately satisfied with the outcome, but it took approximately six months to reach resolution.

Our records show that this lift was purchased and installed through an independent contractor. As the distributor, AmeriGlide supplied the equipment and provides parts coverage under the manufacturer’s warranty, while installation and on-site labor are handled by the installing contractor or a local authorized service provider.

That said, we are here to help. We can support your original installer through live technical assistance, or we can coordinate a factory-trained technician in your area to service the unit. Service visits of this nature are typically well below the amount referenced, and our goal is to help facilitate a fair and practical resolution.

In response to your most recent reply,

To clarify, AmeriGlide’s role in this transaction was as the product distributor to a third-party. Mr. Pierce did not purchase the equipment from Ameriglide nor did Ameriglide install the equipment.

The manufacturer’s warranty covers parts, and AmeriGlide fully honors that warranty. Labor warranties would be covered by the respective installation company you hired.

When Mr. Pierce contacted AmeriGlide for assistance; he was offered several ways to assist in getting the lift operational, including technical support and referral to a qualified local installer who could evaluate and repair the unit at a significantly lower service cost than the factory technician travel option that was discussed.

Our goal remains the same — to help restore the lift to safe working condition. We remain willing to assist.

I installed two units on a curved staircase.

Received shipment quickly and I was doing a self install on two units on a curved staircase. The installation took about two hours per unit. I was hesitant to do the installation myself but it turned out well and the instructions were clearly provided.

First of all

First of all, we never expected to be at the point in our lives where we would need a stair lift chair. My wife reached out to your company and the return contact was made a day later. The sales tech was very informative and respectful of our situation. I had measured our location and had questions, and he had the answers. He was very helpful and friendly. We are excited to install the unit and make life easier for my wife.

AMERIGLIDE - the VERY BEST COMPANY!

The day before I was having total knee replacement surgery, I had an issue with my Ameriglide Rave ll chair lift. I called tech support in a complete panic. The tech I spoke calmed me down and assured me he would do his best to get the problem fixed. My son in law, Glenn. installed it and could not be available talk to the tech until after work. The tech would be gone by that time, so he gave me his personal cell so he could be contacted when Glenn was available. They worked on it together for probably 30-45 minutes and resolved all the issues! I will forever be thankful that this kind and supportive tech went above and beyond to provide the best support available! I do believe this is an excellent company and recommend that anyone with mobility problems select Ameriglide to work with!

Did a goggle search looking for a stair…

Did a goggle search looking for a stair lift and came across this company. I went to order a lift but couldn't get payment through, so I called and got Andres Avila as an agent and went through the process of ordering a chair lift. He was able to order a chair cheaper then what it would cost through the web site. Order placed and then got email saying they had trouble with payment. I called bank to find out there was a limit on card for fraud protection, they raised it and I emailed Andres Avila that they now can get payment. I soon got email from from Andres Avila with a receipt. This was placed on 01/09/26 and got lift on 01/15/26. I decided to install myself only due to my skill set and took me about 3 hours to install. I'm overall pleased with their product and their service. Thank you Andres Avila
