The mechanic I spoke to was polite and made the process feel very easy. It’s clear they know how to make things run smoothly, and the communication throughout was appreciated. Staff unwilling to assist neurodivergent customer
As a neurodivergent person I was appalled as to how I was treated by the team at this site.
I booked a service and stated I had a service plan upon booking - when I showed up they reported they had no record of my service plan and were unwilling to go through the documents I had with me one of which stated my service plan details. (I had an Mot plan, an extended warranty and a service plan and it’s not clear as you would think as to which is which)
Instead they said I had to call Renault to find out what my documents were for and then come back to them once I had clarified what all my documents were. I spent around 1.5hours between calling Renault and speaking to ancaster back and forth about what information was needed. In the end ancaster still refused to do the service unless I paid for it due to the fact my service plan was not available to them online.
I was made to feel incompetent despite me clearly to trying to explain my difficulties with paperwork - I had it all with me I just didn’t know what was what and staff were unwilling to take the time to look through it with me.
I was disregarded and gaslighted saying that when I booked I never told them I had a service plan . Their story then changed to ‘I can’t remember if you said you had a service plan’ when you booked.
I went home and found out I had the correct proof of service plan document with me afterall which I do believe if the service team had been kind enough to look at the paperwork with me in more detail I would have easily been able to identify this document themselves.
I would like ancaster to undertake further training on neurodivergent customers and training on invisible disabilities.

Anita Lorkins at Ancaster Croydon, couldn’t have been more helpful. She answered all my questions, made additional arrangements for me to have a second test drive and gave me the space to think through my options. I was very happy with the service that I received – the team really make you feel welcome and take the time to understand your needs.

Annual service went without a hitch
Evvevryone was helpful and approachable. Vernon in particular made the process comfortable by providing honest advice and clear explanations. Everything felt well organised. Communication was smooth, and responses came quickly when needed. It all ran as expected without issues.

I felt well looked after during my visit to Ancaster Nissan Heathrow. The agent who assisted me was courteous and friendly, taking the time to explain everything clearly. He carefully walked me through what needed to be done and helped ensure I made the right choice. At the end, he reviewed all the paperwork with me, making sure it was in order before I signed. It felt like attention was given at each stage of the process, which left me feeling satisfied when I left.
