I honestly couldn’t recommend David Nicholls enough! From the very beginning, he was patient, supportive and always made me feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel.
David explained everything clearly, never made me feel silly for making mistakes, and always knew exactly how to help me improve. His encouragement and calm approach really helped build my confidence, especially as the test got closer.
Thanks to all his hard work, guidance and belief in me, I’m so happy to say I passed my driving test FIRST TIME! 🚗🎉

Would highly recommend Apex driving school! They quickly allocated me with a great instructor, Gary. I was quite nervous initially but he put me at ease, and corrected my wrong manoeuvres calmly and kindly. He was flexible with my time constraints too, and always on time. I didn’t pass my first test, no fault of Gary’s, but we got me ready over some months for my second one, and I happily passed.

Gary was perfect, got me a pass first time with 0 minors, highly reccommended

I had a brilliant experience with my instructor, Simon, who passed me with a single minor mistake, within a single month of lessons. He was professional, straight to the point, but also a playful and great teacher, and I can see why he has such a high pass rate.

Absolutely amazing! My driving instructor was called Bryan and was a wonderful teacher- kind, easy to talk to and very clear when giving instructions. I had previously been with RED driving school who i had a difficult time with, so when I began driving I was quite anxious, however after a few lessons with Bryan that quickly went away as he was always calm and reassured me I would be okay. Both me and my partner passed first time with Bryan, would 100% recommend him!!

Dreadful company. Terrible communication from the company, nonsensical texts that don’t make sense. They don’t return calls. Instructor was less than useless in terms of communication in the lesson and also over the phone. How this company can run and have such poor instructors and customer service is beyond me. Such a shame as the original owner was a brilliant instructor but unfortunately he passed away and it seems the company has gone down the pan. Find another company to learn to drive. Apex are awful!

I had Gary as my instructor and recently passed my driving test in May. Right off the bat, he didn’t waste any time during lessons, I learnt how to parallel park on my first lesson. He made driving seem easy to learn while still teaching me to be safe and aware on the roads. He also took me along potential test routes so I was super comfortable when it got to the date of my test. I would highly recommend Apex driving school, especially Gary.

Had a brilliant driving instructor at APEX. Having had about 20 hours with a different school, I was a nervous wreck every time I got behind the wheel. Gary teaches you to drive confidently and not just to pass your test. The first time I got in the car with him I already felt loads better. He is very calm and reassuring and despite me making a few silly mistakes, he is always calm and ready to teach.

A huge thank you to Usman who helped me pass my test. I passed in a matter of a couple of months with his help and experience.

Miles is the best instructor you could hope for he’s always on time if not early and he keeps his car clean and ready for you to pass your test . I passed zero minors and couldn’t have had a better instructor

I passed my test this morning, and i’d like to give credit to Usman. Extremely patient and respectful while also being stern . And he really helped me with learning and understanding how to drive. As well as even when i failed first time he was very uplifting. I really recommend Usman and will be suggesting his service to other people! Thank you so much.

Simon was absolutely incredible! He stepped in a month before my son’s test date and he literally got him ready and he passed. Despite having lessons before starting with Simon, I can honestly say I don’t think this would have happened if it wasn’t for Simon’s great approach - he gave my son confidence, patience, lessons that he really enjoyed and the driving skills to pass! Even when he drove him home after the test, his genuine happiness for James was so lovely! Thank you Simon - James still says he couldn't have done it without you!

Usman was a great driving instructor, very helpful and patient. Prices are cheaper in comparison to other instructors too. Would 100% recommend.
