Ordered a green beret from their web site. Poor quality not the correct color. would not recommend this web site if you are looking for authentic type of military head gear. Junk

I ordered a heavy duty cotton web military belt. However, the one I received was not heavy duty in my opinion. It was not as thick and wide as my Army issued belt. I inquired about this and didn't get a reply.

As a customer you’ll get ripped off, at least that’s my opinion. I’ll give an explanation: hence,

Buyer beware! The store will rip you off. If if the reading had a negative star. I most definitely would give Army Surplus World a negative star. Take notice of all the other reviews poor and negative review; not just mine; and take heed: you could be the next victim of Army Surplus World.

Today, July 8, 2025, I received from Army Surplus World an advertisement of their sales. Approximately two years ago, I ordered a trench coat. By accident I put in 2 orders. I was successful removing the extra one? I also left them a message on their phone and I received from them a notice confirming that I only wanted one. I responded to that notice indicating it was just one that I wanted; i.e., ordered one only.

When I received the trench coat, I received two. When I made a personal contact to them, they said that I would have to pay for the return shipping. Even though it was their error. I had to pay for the return shipping. It was not cheap; hence , I lost money. Consequently, Army Surplus World, managerial staff and/or owner’s word cannot be trusted.

Now, you don’t have to take my word for it. Buy from Army Surplus World and experience, the managerial staff and/or owner’s unethical practice(s) and learn the hard way and lose money.

Ordered a military issue cross several weeks ago. Received an email on Nov 11th saying the order was delayed, waiting for new shipment. Still don't have the item and will write another review if and when I receive it. BTW, the shipping cost was almost as much as the item, for a tiny cross and should not take a month to get an item that is advertised

wow. I ordered myself 2 pair of camo shorts, and they arrived over night. The sizes are spot on, fit is very comfortable, and they have great space in their pockets. well made, no fraying, loose strings or threads, and I am 100% happy with my purchases from ASW! Thanks!

Got boots that were supposed to be brand new. They fell apart the first time I wore them.

I got them early as winter boots and didn't wear them until first snow, past the 30 day return window.

So, I won't order from them again. They said tough luck and I'm out $75 for what we're supposed to be good winter boots.

Ordered several items from Army World Surplus. A couple of the items had defects and one item had an incorrect sizing chart on the website. I emailed, called, and followed the RMA process from their website. I talked to Vanessa, three different times. The last of which she said that a return label would sent for the items and they would be replaced. I never received the return label. Honestly seems like they have no desire to help, and will tell you just about anything to get you off the phone. I'm sure they will get on here and make false justifications like with the other negatives reviews. SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO THE POOR REVIEWS. Save yourself some trouble, all items on their website are available elsewhere w/o the terrible customer service.

Before I received my shipment. I was planning on giving 3 stars. After I received it, no brainer to give back a star. I rarely if ever give out all five.

When I ordered a used M65. Had payment processing issues, which was corrected after a pleasant call.
Then nine days (02/11-13/11) after ordering. I finally got it. It was not what I ordered. I was expecting a M65 {used} in Woodland camo. What I got was a unused coat.
I still want to give three stars. The payment processing sucked, the shipping sucked. Beyond what agents armysurplus hired for payment/shipping. The companies itself took care of me.

I was very hesitant to go through armysurplusworld because of reveiews. I decided after reading through them that I'd give em a shot. I'm very satisfied with my order I got exactly what I ordered in a very reasonable amount of time. Can't really ask for much more. Only thing I wish is that more items were in stock in my size but that's the game. Ya have to get it while it's there. Anyway, you can trust them. If you read these other reviews it seems like more misunderstanding and being spoiled my Amazon slave laber.

I ordered three Army manuals. Two were fine, but one arrived with pages coming out, the binding coming apart and just general poor quality. I tried for two weeks to contact support with no response. Finally, when they did reply, I was told to send photos of the damage. So again, for another two weeks, I tried to send photos with support telling me they didn't get them. Finally, I just uploaded the photos to my own server and provided links. That is when CS proceeds to tell me that I only had TWENTY FOUR HOURS to file a complaint and that my first email was three days after I received the order. So they DID get all of my emails, they just chose to ignore them! When I pointed this out, she said that she would "try" to get the warehouse to send another book. That was two weeks ago and STILL nothing further. I submitted this same review to the site as a review on that item and it said that the review was "awaiting moderation." What do you want to bet that that review will never see the light of day on their site? AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

I bought their Montana sleeping bag rated for -30 below. I won't be able to test it fully this year but its a great looking bag. It definitely is a great feeling and great looking bag. Weighs much less then the Army issue bags. Plus shipping was fast

They messed up my order and offered me a hat to make it right. I told them what I wanted and they sent me a stupid baseball cap. I talked to Merlin who was the manager. After I received my items I called Merlin and told her they sent me the wrong hat. She lied to me and said that is what I asked for. I asked for a boone hat. She was rude and nasty. She lied and cheated me. Don't buy from army surplus world!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - Sent a defective pair of boots. Waited weeks after I returned - no new pair in the mail. After I emailed them to check in they said they were waited to receive the defective pair before sending me a new one??? Not my fault they were defective. Not only that, they didn't even have the right size in stock to replace them. It would have been nice to know that weeks ago. They did return my money after waisting two months while I still don't have boots.

Great select of genuine army uniforms and surplus at very reasonable price. Shipping speed could improve. But during the pandemic I won't complain.

Wow, received the blue Air Force embroidered wings hat after waiting 4 weeks or longer. This item is nothing as pictured. The quality is very poor and item looks nothing like the picture on the website. The Air Force logo is stitched and not embroidered, and the stars on the flag are a blob. As a member of the Air Force, this is extremely disappointing. I will not be buying from this site again. Returning this item is not an option, as paying for shipping back to get a refund is just not worth it.

Ordered a M65 jacket and paid for 2 day fedex shipping. I never received a tracking number and my emails to this ”company” go unanswered. Unfortunately for them I will be telling all my brothers not to use this company ever....

I ordered over a $100.00 dollars worth of stuff and I can't track it. And when I called, the message was the,person you are trying to reach was unavailable. When I email them, they send me my same email back. I am lost out of money. But I am going to see who I can see who deal with companies like this to get my money back. Do not buy from them. You will lose your money.

Couldn’t give them negative stars or I would! DO NOT ORDER CAMO FABRIC ONLINE WITH THEM!! They are deceiving as everything!! When I called it to their attention they only wanted to argue back with me and tell me I was wrong! Even the email they sent me showing proof of what I ordered showed the correct order but the material was wrong! They will not refund me and I do not want this freakin material because it’s not what I ordered! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!
