Good range of products but better communication needed
I ordered a dozen Reidel glasses on 10th Jan. I didn't get a confirmation email of my order but if I logged into to the Ascot website and could track it there. I then heard nothing for 10 days so I phoned Ascot to ask for an update. The phone was answered promptly and a very helpful member of staff assured me she would contact the suppliers and phone me back - which she did about 30 mins later to say that the supplier was dispatching the order that day I would received the glasses within 5 days. They arrived today following helpful tracking messages from the courier APC. The glasses were well packed and are in good order. My main feedback to Ascot is about communication: 1) a note on their website that they hold no stock and are dependent on the supplier to fulfil the order in good time; 2) a confirmation email sent automatically once the order has been placed; 3) update emails advising the customer when the supplier has dispatched the order.

It is very strange that you did not receive a confirmation email after the order was placed as this is something that we have as a automated process. This may have gone into the spam box or been blocked via anti spam, We will have a look into this so we can avoid this for other customers in the future!
In regards to stock, We state on our FAQs page that we have a large amount of stock in our warehouse, but some stock will come from our manufacturers. We also state we do not show stock on our website and if you are wondering about stock please contact our team. This is something we are already working on getting implemented and making sure that 'Out of stock' products are clear on the website.

I ordered some glasses on 7 January and still haven’t had an email confirmation of my order or a reply to my email sent last week asking when I could expect to receive the items. They appear on my bank statement so the order has clearly been received. I would appreciate a response.

Great choice of products
I came across this company by chance. Great choice of products and prices. I was a little concerned about ordering from this site as I was only placing a small order. I needn't have worried as this company comes across as treating the customer equally well, regardless of size of order. Website easy to use. My flutes arrived quickly, very well packaged and in perfect condition. I would order from this company again.

DON'T BUY FROM THEM! APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE
Absolutely appalled at the way I have been treated as a customer by Katrina Sloan and by the shoddy service I've received from start to finish from the company.
Ordered on 15th December, with products supposedly in stock. Order didn't arrive (was for Christmas present for my husband).
Emailed before Christmas to ask for tracking info with no response.
Rang on 27th and was told cups were out of stock.
They would have known this when I placed my order and didn't bother to notify me. Was told there wasn't a date for restock.
Rang today and asked for a refund, told it would be 5 working days, despite paying via Payal and knowing it can be refunded immediately back.
Asked Katrina to email me refund confirmation whilst on hold, with paypal screenshot. She said she would do this. I received the credit notification, but no paypal screenshot. I asked for it to be resent, which Katrina said she would do. I was told I wasn't allowed to stay on hold and she cut me off.
Rang back repeatedly to say I still haven't received the email Katrina supposedly sent.
Hung up on repeatedly when calling back (12 times).
THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED. WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD.

We apologise for the issues you have experienced whilst ordering from us.
Unfortunately, manufacturers have been closed over Christmas so we have not been able to find out stock levels from some of our suppliers. Because of this we put a message on our website stating that we cannot guarantee delivery before Christmas, This message was on the website from the 10th December.
Catriona sent over the refund confirmation emails while you were on hold as you requested and informed you to wait 10/15 minutes to receive the emails and if you had not received to give a call back. We did not end our phone call with yourself without informing you that we needed to free up the line to allow other calls to come into us and in 10/15 minutes if you had not received the refund confirmation to us a call back.
The refund confirmation has been sent over via email by Catriona at 14:37, 14:41 and 14:43 on 29th December 2022,
The refund has been processed and will be with you in 3-5 working days.

The parcel was sent to APC with the…
The parcel was sent to APC with the incorrect address on but had the postcode the parcel should been sent to!! Needless say it never arrived.
On speaking to the supplier they realised that the incorrect address had been given and said they had advised the delivery company of the correct details! I also asked them to send an email again with correct email on, they told me to do it myself!! To which I replied that they were my suppliers and I had been paid to sort my parcel out safely!!!!
When speaking to the delivery company they advised that the parcel would be delivered the next day - no such luck!!!
They then advised that it would be delivered on the next day -no such luck again!!! Also the supply company had not been in touch with then!!
The order was placed on the 17th December, first delivery should have been 19th December and it’s 17.18 on 22nd December.
What a shambles Ascot Wholesalers are, I would not recommend this company to anyone!!!!!
Neither would I recommend APC deliveries to anyone as they ignore the person who placed the order with Ascot Wholesalers. A furious customer

It's got to be one star I'm afraid! I phoned on the Monday to check stock and asked if I'd get the glasses by Friday. (for an event on the Saturday, plenty of time!) Ordered online and no delivery by Friday. Phoned in and they didn't receive the order through their online ordering system. Cancelled & got a refund. Went to bookers..

Polar G-Series Upright Back Bar Cooler with Sliding Doors 490Ltr Great service ordered 09.30am and delivered the next day. Great value as well £200 cheaper than anywhere else. Its a fantastic fridge as well a good addition to the village hall bar.

Very poor/no communication
Very poor/no communication. Placed an order on the 3rd September and have had neither the order delivered or any update. Have called several times and emailed and have no response to either.
May have to resort to PayPal to get resolution.

We apologise for the miscomunication in regards to the product you have ordered.
We do not show live stock on our website, and we do advise if your order is time sensitive you should contact the sales team who will be able to help as quickly as possible.
Unfortunately, at the moment there are a lot of supply and manufacturing issues with some manufacturers which can lead to products being out of stock. Sadly, we didn't find out about this item being out of stock until we contacted the manufacturers.
