Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience.
The workmanship throughout the job was poor, and several parts were left unfinished or done incorrectly. He didn’t follow basic regulations, which created safety concerns. His attitude was unprofessional — constantly moaning, defensive when mistakes were pointed out, and acting as though fixing his own errors was doing me a favour.
In the end, he abandoned the job completely, saying there “wasn’t money in it for him,” and never returned to finish the work. The most surprising part is that he regularly described himself as an excellent tradesman and a great person, which was the opposite of my experience.
We then had to go through the whole stress again of finding another electrician willing to take over a job that had already been started. Based on the quality of work and behaviour I encountered, I wouldn’t recommend.
